Student of the Hexter Award Winners
This week, we had our first Student of the Hexter awards for the year. Team teachers choose students who are consistently demonstrating our SHARP characteristics (Safe, Honest, Achieving, Respectful, and Persevering.) We are proud of our first round of winners! Keep up the good work, Wolverines!
Hexter One Best Attendance
We also recognized the team at each grade level who had the best attendance in Hexter 1! They received a traveling trophy that will be passed each hexter to the team with the best attendance. Our Hexter 1 winners were 6A, 7C, and 8B! Congrats, teams!
Fall Fest
This week, our music department put on their very first “Fall Fest.” The games, candy-eating, and fun started at 6:00 pm and there was a quick 30-minute concert at 7:00 pm. All the games were totally planned and run by 8th grade volunteers. Lots of 6th graders chose to come to have fun (and also got to hear older musicians perform and hopefully be inspired.) Parents were amazing by donating treats AND volunteering to chaperone, and our building was buzzing with both students and parents mingling with one another. What a special community!
Cross Country District Champions
Emi and Tim were DISTRICT CHAMPIONS at this week’s district cross country meet! Congrats to you both! That takes some serious dedication and grit!
Paws Note Winners
We have more PAWS Notes winners! Keep up the great work, students!
