Examples of inappropriate dress and grooming include lack of cleanliness in person or dress; shoe lessness; "short-short" clothing; bare midriffs; "tank tops"; "see-through" clothing or apparel which designates gangs or similar organizations or any dress that is disruptive to the educational process. Designated dress involving school activities approved by the principal shall be acceptable. The principal or other duly authorized school official shall determine whether any particular mode of dress or grooming results in a violation of the spirit and/or the intent of this rule.
Clothing, including administratively approved spirit wear, must be modest and of appropriate length and fit. Extremely tight clothing, sagging shorts or trousers, or baggy, oversized clothing is not permitted.
Clothing and/or jewelry must not contain words or symbols that are gang-related, offensive, insulting, embarrassing, obscene, or promote illegal behavior.
Clothing and/or jewelry must not contain any advertisement or display of words or symbols associated with alcohol, illegal drugs, or tobacco.
Appropriate undergarments must be worn at all times and must not be visible.
Head wraps, bandanas, hoods, or other head coverings (du-rags/wave caps/bonnets/gaitor

CREEKSIDE PTSA
We invite you to be an active participant in our school community through volunteering, joining our PTSA, School Governance Council, or supporting school events. When parents participate and are involved in their child’s education, there is a greater likelihood of success. We look forward to continuing our work as partners and eagerly anticipate a meaningful year of learning and engagement for our students!
Creekside High School PTSA is an organization where Parents, Teachers and Students work together to make every child's potential a reality. We accomplish this goal by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Commitment: Our PTSA is dedicated to promoting children's health, well-being, and educational success through strong parent, family, and community involvement at Creekside High School.
We need your support! Please join via the link below. Membership is $10 annually. Students can join too!
School Supply List: Last school year Creekside earned designation as an AVID National Demonstration School, the first high school in the state of Georgia. As such, AVID instructional practices that support students with academic achievement and college and career readiness are implemented for all students. Please ensure your child has the supplies needed to help them with the organization and study skills required for academic success. To see our school supply list click here.
Student Devices - Mandatory Fines: All Creekside students will be issued their student devices and chargers during the first two weeks of school. Be advised that students who lose or damage their devices and chargers will be subject to a $500 (lost/stolen device), $150 (damaged device), or $35 (lost/damaged charger). It is imperative that your child keeps track of and takes care of their student devices and chargers. Fulton County Schools is offering a device protection plan. Please click here to learn more.
Attendance: At Creekside, we understand the importance of regular attendance in academic success. Research shows a direct correlation between student attendance and academic performance. We have a dedicated attendance committee that is committed to supporting students who may be struggling with attendance. Chronically absent students will be referred to this committee for attendance interventions, including but not limited to an attendance parent conference, attendance contract, social work referral, and juvenile court proceedings. Please see the district's policies and guidelines regarding addressing students who are chronically absent by clicking here.
Dress Code & Clear Bookbags: Students are expected to dress and groom themselves in a way that reflects neatness, cleanliness, and safety. All students shall dress appropriately so as not to disrupt or interfere with the educational program or the orderly operation of the school. Examples of inappropriate dress and grooming include lack of cleanliness in person or dress; "short-short" clothing; bare midriffs; "tank tops"; "see-through" clothing or apparel that designates gangs or similar organizations or any dress that is disruptive to the school environment. Creekside is also a clear bookbag campus. To see our dress code guidelines click here and to see our clear book bag guidelines click here.
Positive Behavior Interventions System (P.B.I.S.): Please support our effort to sustain our safe and positive learning environment by ensuring your child follows our P.B.I.S. expectations for Tribe P.R.I.D.E. at all times. Students who exhibit Tribe P.R.I.D.E. are regularly recognized, rewarded with P.B.I.S. points to shop at the school P.B.I.S. store, and are invited to our monthly P.B.I.S. block parties. To see our schoolwide PBIS expectations matrix click here.
We invite you to participate actively in our school community by volunteering, joining our PTSA, School Governance Council, or supporting school events.
Parents who participate and are involved in their child’s education are more likely to succeed. We look forward to continuing our work as partners and eagerly anticipate a meaningful year of learning and engagement for our students.
REPORT, DON'T REPOST
“Report, Don’t Repost” aims to help students and families to understand the importance of reporting threats seen on social media, rather than reposting them. In today's digital age, harmful content can spread quickly, creating panic and confusion. By encouraging our community to report threats directly to local authorities or use our anonymous tip line, simultaneously helping to prevent the spread of misinformation. Students also need to understand passing along threats online slows down police investigations and could result in charges to them.
Key points:
- If you see or hear a threat on social media, report it to local authorities immediately.
- You can also Report a Safety Concern anonymously at www.fultonschools.org/tipline.
- Do not post on social media where it can cause confusion and put you at risk.
No outside Food/Candy to be Distributed or Sold on Campus
As we approach the upcoming holidays, it's important to remind parents and families that candy, desserts, baked good (store bought/homemade), or any other edible items are not to be sold or distributed at school or on the bus unless approved in advance by school administration. Per our Student Code of Conduct, students who do not adhere to this expectation are subject to disciplinary action for violation 7A: Failure to follow Rules and all candy or food items will be confiscated. Please discuss this expectation and possible consequences with your student(s) as this will be taken very seriously. This is due to recent national and state reports about students sharing edible items and synthetic medications with other students that contain very harmful substances.
Please know that taking this measure will help us maintain a safe environment for all students. You can help us protect your student(s) by requesting that they not eat anything given to them by another person, anything that they have not brought from your home or anything not in its original sealed package.
Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping all of our students safe at school!
Upcoming A.R.R.O.W.S. Days
At Creekside, we practice Acceleration, Re-engagement and Reassessment Opportunities While in School.
Introduction
The ARROWS Program is designed to ensure all students learn to their full potential by providing them multiple opportunities to demonstrate mastery of course standards.
Students will be offered one designated day in each class each month to accelerate learning, re-engage in content, and reassess content standards to support work in demonstrating mastery in order to earn course credit to remain on track for graduation.
The ARROWS Program will allow teachers additional opportunities to differentiate instruction by meeting individual student needs in the remediation of non-mastered standards and/or enrichment of mastered standards.
The ARROWS Program aligns with Fulton County Schools board policy and Creekside High School’s Semester Action Plan.
Per FCS Board Policy IHA-L, Appendix A
Fulton County Schools believes students who have not yet provided evidence of mastery should have the opportunity for reteaching, relearning, and/or reassessment.”
Program Overview
ARROWS will occur for the entire block in all classes on a monthly basis as outlined on the calendar below for the duration of the 2026-2027 school year.
Students who have failed to demonstrate mastery on the targeted standards on majors/minors for ARROWS will receive reteaching and reassessment for the specific standards and/or complete missing assignments.
Students who have demonstrated mastery on the targeted standards for the ARROWS session will be provided enrichment tasks for the specific standard(s).
Teachers will update grades from ARROWS Day assignments within 5 working days within Infinite Campus.
