April Students of the Month
Social Studies Students of the Month - Gabriel Perry and Samiah LaFreniere
Nominated by Mrs. Marana:
Gabriel Perry is an exceptional student of history. He consistently shows up, participates in class discussions, and completes work. I am continually impressed with his ability to use evidence to build and support his thoughts on various historical topics. He is a pleasure to have in class and I congratulate him on the honor!
Nominated by Ms. Fitzpatrick:
Samiah has shown her dedication to history by using her creativity to elevate her history projects and assignments. The work she produces shows evidence of higher-order thinking. She puts in exceptional effort daily within our class during discussion and with her work, even while being actively involved in the school through extracurriculars. She is a highly talented student and very deserving of this recognition.

We held 50th Anniversary Celebration at Westwood High School last week. Thank you to those who were able to attend. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Kitty Kososki for taking us on a memorable journey through our shared history with her wonderful presentation this evening. Mrs. Kososki has been a valued educator and mentor in our district since its early days, and we are deeply grateful for her lasting contributions.
Thank you to Mrs. Stephanie McIntyre and Mrs. Colleen Maki for their incredible efforts behind the scenes. Your attention to detail and creative touch ensure our special events are always beautifully presented. Below are some of the displays they put together. Thank you both!
