Schedule Pickup
We will hold "Drop-in Style" Schedule Pickup Sessions on Monday, August 8 from 8-11AM and Tuesday, August 9, from 3-6 PM.
- You may pick up your child's schedule and take a quick self-guided tour of the building.
- We will have a location set up if you need to register on site.
- Students who have not completed the registration process will not be able to pick up their schedules.
- Please return any outstanding textbooks, Chromebooks, and chargers.
Residency Verification Required for the 2022-2023 School Year
Please note, that the registration process is not complete until the school reviews and approves all registration forms and required documents.

2022-2023 CEW South Uniform Policy
Tops
Solid Royal Blue, Navy Blue, Grey, or White Collared Polo-Style Shirt, Crew Neck Sweatshirt, or Zip Jacket (No hoods).
Bottoms
Khaki, Navy, or Black Pants/Skirts, or Shorts (Not jeans, sweats, athletic pants, or leggings/Yoga pants)
- Bottoms to be at least to mid-thigh
- Bottoms to be worn at the waist
Official CEW School Tops
When wearing an Official CE Williams Top (Unaltered) students may wear jeans or the permitted bottoms listed above.

Not Permitted:
- No pajamas, jeggings, spandex, bike shorts, or athletic shorts
- No bare midriffs or spaghetti strap tops
- No hats, hoods, bandanas, hair picks, rags, hair caps, or scarves
- No Crocs (or Crocs-style shoes), backless shoes, open-toed shoes, bedroom slippers, flip-flops, or slides
- No clothing, jewelry, or accessory will be permitted that display profanity, weapons, violence, suggestive phrases, alcohol, tobacco, drug advertisements, or other inappropriate phrases or symbols as determined by the administration.
- Students may not wear accessories or jewelry that may be considered unsafe as determined by the school administration. This includes but is not limited to facial piercings, gauges, chains, and spikes.
*Dress Down days may allow for some of these items - details for dress-downs will be shared.
Charleston First Day Festival Saturday, August 7
Families receive free school supplies, food, and information from nearly 100 community organizations. Festival-goers also enjoy free admission to the Aquarium during the festival hours.

Parents and Caregivers,
It’s that time again! The librarians at the Bees Ferry West Ashley library branch are eagerly anticipating the start of a new school year. We cannot wait to see some familiar faces in our after-school crowd and welcome new faces to enjoy everything that the Charleston County Public Library system has to offer. To ensure a smooth transition back into school and afterschool activities at the library, here is some helpful information:
- A robust selection of daily after-school programs will be offered at the library such as video game competitions, STEM activities, book related discussions, and much more. Visit us online at ccpl.org for more information about the library, including our calendar of events.
- While visiting our website, please familiarize yourself with the library’s Code of Conduct and Policies and Procedures paying special attention to the Youth Support Section. We want teens to feel proud of their library and the programs they take part in and to connect with their peers in a safe and inviting environment. Therefore, we will be highlighting and enforcing our policies and procedures as consistently as possible. Please help us by taking a moment to discuss library behavior expectations with your teen.
- And finally, a friendly reminder that the library parking lot is not available to use as a drop-off or pick-up location for the schools. Everyone’s safety is a priority. The use of our parking lot in lieu of the designated school lines disrupts the flow of traffic and puts our pedestrians in an unsafe situation as they try to navigate through the cars.
