Dear Wales Families,
Regarding the forecast for high heat indexes on Monday and Tuesday of next week, the primary buildings will still run full school days. Please send your child with a water bottle and a change of clothes, as we will incorporate water activities in PE and possibly other classes. If you have concerns regarding the heat and would prefer to keep your child home or pick them up early, we understand. Please notify the school if this is the case. Per the district calendar, Wednesday is an early release day, please see the schedule for times below.
Important Message for Parents of Third Graders:
Due to the forecasted heat next week and the large number of guests that attend the Third Grade Moving Up Day ceremony on Tuesday, June 24th we will be moving the ceremony up in time to 11:00 AM. We hope that the early start time will help us beat the heat a bit.
REMINDER: Our student council thought it would be fun to have some fun themes throughout June. Please join us in showing your Wales pride by participating!
They are calling for temperatures to rise next week. Please be sure to dress your child in cool clothing and send in a water bottle for refilling, and keep them hydrated.
6/25 : End the year by showing your school spirit by wearing your Wales Primary gear or wearing Red & White!
