During the week of March 10th, 2025 our school will hold a Hoops For Heart event during your child’s physical education class. Students will have an opportunity to compete in a free throw and knockout contest. Boys and girls are separate for knockout and 5th and 6th grades are separate for both contests. These events are held at schools nationwide.
The American Heart Association is dedicated to helping people live longer, healthier lives. The money we raise helps people in our community learn how to avoid heart disease and stroke and also helps our local patient care. Our school will qualify for gift certificates for free physical education equipment based on the amount we raise. Our school goal is to raise $5,000. Please see chart below.
We are asking each family to make one tax deductible donation in any amount you can contribute. No donation is too small. If you can contribute please send in cash or a check in a clearly marked envelope with "American Heart Association donation" and your child’s first and last name, or donate online. Students will work on their online fundraising page during media with Mr. Arebaugh.
This page must be set up at home with parental permission given ahead of time:

Sincerely,
Ms. Juergens
