Fall Sports in Full Swing

The 2026 Fall Athletic Season is now in its final stretch, with our student-athletes continuing to compete across football, boys and girls soccer, volleyball, boys and girls cross country, golf, and cheer. With much of the regular season behind us, our teams have delivered plenty of memorable moments, strong performances, and hard-fought battles. As we approach the postseason, the focus is on finishing strong, securing league standings, and making a push toward tournament success and championships. There is still plenty to play for as we head into the final weeks of the season!

Fall Sports: Turning Up The Heat

BOYS SOCCER | 4-3-4

The Bulldogs have picked up where they left off last season and are currently ranked #11 in the state in Division IV. Josh DelPrete has proven to be incredibly dangerous regardless of where he is on the field, while Kauan Barbosa, Ryan Jackson, and Daniel DaSilva have provided consistency and stability throughout the lineup. With a veteran group and plenty of experience, the Bulldogs remain firmly in the mix as the season progresses.

GIRLS SOCCER | 7-2-2

Under first-year Head Coach Farid Issa, the Bulldogs have gotten off to a hot start and are currently ranked #13 in the state in Division IV. Wheaton College commit Kaitlyn Asplund anchors the defensive unit in goal, while the Bulldogs have received strong attacking play from Molly Dubois. Caylee Yerkes, Brynn O'Brien, Celia Harlow, and Ashley Asplund have provided consistency and stability throughout the field as the team continues to build under Coach Issa.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

The boys cross country team continues to put in the work each day, with a group that has embraced the process and continues to improve throughout the season. The Bulldogs have shown strong commitment in practice and continue to push one another. With a young group gaining valuable experience, there is plenty to build on heading into the second half of the season.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

The girls have continued to work hard and are beginning to see the results of that effort. The Bulldogs picked up their first win of the season over Mashpee, giving the team an important boost as the season moves forward. Freshman Naomi Gibson has been a standout, winning two races already this season. With continued improvement throughout the roster, the Bulldogs are building momentum heading into the second half of the fall.

GOLF

The golf team has continued to compete and improve throughout a challenging schedule, picking up wins over Cardinal Spellman and Brockton. Seniors Cam McGuire and Bobby Butler have provided valuable leadership and have been steady contributors throughout the season. Their experience has helped set the tone for a group that continues to compete and develop with each match.

FOOTBALL | 3-2

The Bulldogs, currently ranked #8 in the state in Division VII, have picked up victories over Blue Hills, East Bridgewater and Bristol-Plymouth and remain firmly in the playoff conversation. Quarterback Dustin Ayer has found a favorite target in Patrick McDonagh, with both players putting together strong performances early in the season. Justin Kiser has also played extremely well, while Marvelous Pleasant continues to lead the ground game and provide a physical presence for the Bulldogs.

VOLLEYBALL | 6-8

Volleyball opened the season with a statement win over Norwell and has continued to battle against some of the best competition on the South Shore. The Bulldogs have put together several big wins against tough opponents and have shown the ability to compete with anyone on their schedule as they have earned their current #13 ranking in the state in Division IV. Ryleigh Atkinson, Tuline Farah, and Lycia Nassif have provided consistent play throughout the first month and have helped establish the team's identity as the season progresses.

CHEER

The cheer team has been putting in significant work behind the scenes as they prepare for their first competition of the season. The Bulldogs will take the mat at the Milford Invitational on October 18, marking the beginning of their competition season. After weeks of preparation and practice, the team will have its first opportunity to showcase its routine and compete against teams from throughout the area.

Stay Connected! Social Media Links Stay Connected! Social Media Links

One of our goals this year is to make it easier than ever for families, students, alumni, and fans to follow everything happening across Rockland Athletics. We have expanded our digital presence significantly, and I wanted to make sure everyone knows where to find us.

X (formerly Twitter) — @Rocklanddogs

Our X account is going to be one of our primary outlets for game day announcements, scores and results, play-by-play updates, postseason information, student-athlete accolades, general athletic announcements, and much more.

If you want the quickest way to stay up to date with what is happening across Bulldog Nation, this is a great place to start.

Instagram

We have also officially launched a Rockland Athletics Instagram account! It will provide much of the same information as X, but in a more visual format—with photos, graphics, highlights, announcements, results, and other content from around our athletic programs.

If Instagram is your preferred platform, be sure to follow along.

Hudl Fan & WRPS

We will also be streaming a wide variety of our athletic contests through Hudl Fan and WRPS. This is particularly valuable for family members who cannot make it to a game in person.

You can use Hudl Fan and WRPS to find Rockland Athletics, view upcoming events, watch available livestreams, and access highlights and other video content.

FanX — Our Personalized Bulldog Athletics App

Finally, we have launched our own FanX app for Rockland Athletics.

This will give our community another centralized way to follow Bulldog Athletics, with information such as schedules, scores, team information & updates, announcements, push notifications, fundraising information and other athletic updates all in one place. Rather than having to search through different platforms for information, FanX is designed to put Rockland Athletics right at your fingertips.

We are excited about the ability to use these platforms to better communicate with our community and, most importantly, celebrate our student-athletes and the accomplishments of all 24+ Bulldog Athletic programs.

Thank you for your continued support of Rockland Athletics. Have a great weekend, and best of luck to all of our teams competing today!
