Dear High School for Service & Learning Parents and Guardians,

It is that time of year again when we come together to hold our Parent Association elections.

This year, the elections will be held in conjunction with our Rising Stars Award Ceremony on Wednesday, May 13th at 5:30 PM, in person at the Erasmus Campus Auditorium.

All parents or guardians of students attending the High School for Service & Learning are eligible to run and vote for the following Parent Association positions:

  • President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer

If you are interested in serving as our Election Chair, this role includes receiving nominations from parents and counting ballots on the night of the election. Please email me directly if you are interested.

We will also accept nominations from the floor, so we encourage all interested parents to attend and participate. Please plan to arrive on time to ensure the election proceeds smoothly.

Dinner and refreshments will be served.

We look forward to your participation and celebrating our families and community together.

We are excited to extend an invitation to you to join us for Decision Day on Monday, May 4th at 11:00 AM in Erasmus Campus Auditorium (911 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226).

Decision Day—also known as College Signing Day—is a special celebration honoring the post‑secondary plans of all our seniors. This event recognizes every student’s next step, whether they are attending college, entering a career pathway, enlisting in the military, or pursuing a trade.

We would love for families to join us as we celebrate the hard work, growth, and accomplishments of the Class of 2026. Your presence will make this moment even more meaningful for our students.

We look forward to celebrating together!
