News for Week of January 29

New Information

It was so nice to have the students here for 4 days this week. We have been overwhelmingly pleased with the amount of growth we have seen on the MAP assessment. Way to go Yellowjackets!

Due to inclement weather, we will have student school days on February 2 and 19. Please make arrangements accordingly.

It is almost February and we LOVE so many things about Young Elementary! Please complete this form or click on the image to thank a staff member that you LOVE at Young Elementary.

Valentine Parties will be on Wednesday, February 14th at 9:00AM (5th grade at 9:45). If you plan to attend, complete this form and skip the line at check-in. We will have your visitor badge printed and ready to go. If we have not scanned your ID this year, bring it by and we will scan it before the party.

What is happening in PE? Students will be starting tug-of-war next week in PE. If your child would like to bring gloves, be sure to put their name in them.

MAP Testing Dates- Subject to change with Snow Days

MAP testing is going well! We are finishing make up testing in Second, Third, and Fourth. Fifth grade will be testing the week of January 29th. We've seen a lot of growth since the fall and are so proud of our hard-working Yellowjackets.
