SMS E-News

SMS 6th/7th graders were taught how kindness can positively change your brain. Being kind boosts serotonin and dopamine, which give you feelings of satisfaction/well being. Being kind can also reduce stress and lower depression!

Check out our Random Acts of Kindness Tree. Students committed to delivering these gestures and actions to show care and compassion to others, and in return, make a positive impact on their own lives.

To celebrate, all Academic UIL participants had a pizza lunch and awards Assembly during Flextime. We are so proud of our Raiders!

Thank you SMS Teachers, Staff and Parents that helped decorate and chaperone. We could not have had a successful dance without you!
