Caragher's Corner
Afternoon Parents/Guardians,
I would like to first and foremost congratulate our wonderful GBS performers on their concerts yesterday during the day for the school and last night! I have heard rave reviews and it certainly does go to show that the hard work and dedication pays off. Also a special thank you to Mrs. Fifield (Band Director) and Mr. Phillips (Choir Director) on the efforts behind the scenes and with our students.
A special congratulations to our Mr. Phillips on completing his first concert as a choir teacher!
It is also important to note that today marks the halfway point of the 2nd quarter for the 25-26 school year. Here are a couple of important reminders for you and our GBS students as we keep trucking along.
- Check PowerSchool regularly.
- Reach out to staff with questions.
- 5th and 6th - make sure you plug in your Chromebooks before you leave school!
- 7th and 8th - make sure you charge your Chromebooks over night!
Loads of photos to commemorate this week at GBS! Take a minute and scroll through!
Thank you for working with us to provide the best experience for your student at GBS!

From the Conval Wellness Committee: Healthy Snack Reminder
Dear Students and Families,
We encourage all students to bring foods that give energy that can last longer throughout the school day to help keep their minds and bodies fueled for learning. Nutritious choices like fruits, vegetables, cheese, yogurt, and whole-grain items give students the energy they need to stay focused throughout the day. Please remember that candy is a treat; the energy candy gives is a quick burst and does not last. While it can be enjoyed occasionally, it isn't part of our healthy snack expectations during the school day. Thank you for supporting an energizing school environment for all students!
