Meet the Counselor
Mr. Rob Marti
Meet Our School Counselor!
Hello families!
My name is Rob Marti, and I am so excited to introduce myself as a school counselor at Sage Canyon! It is truly an honor to join this wonderful community, and I’m looking forward to a fantastic year working with your children, families, and the amazing staff here.
As the school counselor, my role is to support the academic, social-emotional, and personal development of all students. I provide classroom lessons, small group support, and individual check-ins to help students build skills like self-awareness, managing emotions, making good choices, friendship building, and more. I’m also here to support students through challenges they may face, whether big or small, and help create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
In addition to working directly with students, I collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and well-being. If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to connect, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here to help!
Let’s make this an amazing school year together! 💙
Warmly,
Rob Marti
A Little About Me!
I am originally from Southern California and have lived in the Castle Rock and Larkspur area for the past 20 years. My wife and I have raised 4 children who are now grown adults. Our daughters are both married and our oldest recently gave us a little grand daughter. Our oldest son just graduated from college and our youngest is in his senior year of college. I have been teaching high school science in the DCSD for the past 20 years. I just left Daniel C. Oakes Alternative High School where I spent 14 years and the other 6 years were at Ponderosa High School. I recently graduated from Liberty University with a Masters Degree in School Counseling. I have a passion for children of all ages and I thought it would be fun to dive into elementary school. My wife Tasci, is a Math Interventionist at Sage Canyon and has been teaching elementary school for over 25 years. She is my role model and go to person to assist me on this journey!
Things I Really Enjoy!
What I enjoy most is spending time with family and friends. Life is so fun when you are with those you love! I grew up playing every sport under the sun, along with skateboarding, surfing, and racing BMX. Since those days are long gone and in the history books, I now enjoy hunting, fishing, backpacking, and everything else Colorado has to offer in the outdoors. Meeting new people, having fellowship, a great meal, and movie is cool also!
