Returning Student Registration 2025-26
Dear Parent/Guardians,
GCISD Returning Student Registration for the 2025-26 school year is now open. While parents are able to register up until the first day of school, they are encouraged to register by Friday, May 16. Campuses are staffed based on registration numbers. Knowing registration numbers before the summer minimizes last-minute hiring or the relocation of staff once the school year begins.
If your student is going to be attending Colleyville Middle School again in 2025-26, please go to Skyward Family Access and fill out the Returning Student Registration by clicking on the tab on the left side and select your student. Additional details and links can be found on the GCISD Returning students 2025-2026 Skyward registration webpage. Please note that a proof of residency will need to be uploaded at the time of registration, or if you are using an Affidavit, a new one can be submitted to the campus data secretary after July 1st. If you are planning on switching schools, please contact our data secretary to start the withdrawal process and the return of any district-issued devices.

Students can also practice the online tools at home using the practice testing site. These are the same online tools students used last year for STAAR testing. To practice at home on this site, see instructions HERE.
Other Important Information
It is very important that students bring their charged GCISD-issued device and charger in order to access the secure testing app and successfully login to take the assessments. Information about how to replace a missing charger can be found HERE.
Please help us remind students with oral accommodations to bring their headphones.
Students may bring bottled water and a small, quiet snack to have on testing days.

Junior Police Academy
The Colleyville Police Department's Junior Police Academy is a great opportunity for the youth of Colleyville to learn what it takes to be a police officer. During this one week mini academy, students will gain knowledge of some of the functions their local law enforcement professionals perform on a daily basis. The students will learn pertinent information that can affect them in their community. Officers of the Colleyville Police Department provide the students instruction on many different facets of the police profession including traffic stops, handling crime scenes, SWAT operations, and conducting building searches.
Please email Officer Amy Beregszaszy at aberegszaszy@colleyville.com or call 817.305.4907 if you are interested in this class. Classes will be filled with first time attendees taking priority.
