Principal Hinz invites all parents and guardians to a free virtual workshop series from the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE), a nonprofit with over 39 years of experience in parent engagement. The series will give families practical tools and strategies to support academic success, strengthen family–school partnerships, and navigate the education system with confidence. Topics include the middle school transition, academic standards, testing, GPA, self-management, building relationship skills, and preparing for college and other post-secondary paths. We encourage all families to join and grow together as a school community. Families can register at the link on the flyer. PIQE staff will reach out with more details and to answer any questions.

Coming to school regularly helps students learn more, stay connected with friends, and feel successful. We’re excited to build a culture of attendance together—every month and every day, all year long! If your student needs to miss school for any reason (illness, appointment, etc) please call Ms. Johnson at 510-317-5199 and leave a message in English or Spanish.
