Dear SGL Families,
As we enter the final week of the 2025-2026 school year, I want to thank our students, families, and staff for an incredible year of learning, growth, and achievement. We are proud of all that our students have accomplished and look forward to celebrating them throughout the week.

Congratulations to our 9th grade students for successfully completing the 2025-2026 school year! 9th Grade Students do not need to report to school this week except to pick up their report cards on Friday, June 26, between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

Monday, June 22
🎬 Perfect Attendance Movie Trip
Congratulations to all students in grades 6-8 who earned perfect attendance last month. Eligible students will enjoy a special movie trip as a reward for their commitment to being present and engaged in school.
💦 7th Grade I-Ready Math Celebration
Periods 7 and 8 seventh-grade students who demonstrated growth on their I-Ready Math assessment this year will participate in a Water Fest celebration. Congratulations on your hard work and academic progress!
Tuesday, June 23
🥷 8th Grade Ninja Park Trip
Eighth-grade students who successfully passed all of their courses this year will attend a special trip to Ninja Park. We are proud of their dedication and achievement throughout the school year.
Wednesday, June 24
🎮 Gaming Day
Students in grades 6 & 7 will participate in a Gaming Day experience. We have hired a professional video gaming company to provide a fun and exciting end-of-year celebration for our students.
Thursday, June 25
🏅 Grades 6 & 7 Field Day
Students in grades 6 and 7 will participate in Field Day activities. Students should wear comfortable clothing, sneakers, and be prepared for outdoor activities.
🎓 Grade 8 Stepping Up Ceremony
We look forward to celebrating our eighth-grade students as they transition to high school.
- Student arrival: 10:00 AM
- Ceremony begins: 10:30 AM
Families are encouraged to arrive early and join us in recognizing this important milestone.
Friday, June 26
📚 Last Day of School
Friday marks the final day of the 2025-2026 school year. We wish all of our students and families a safe, healthy, and enjoyable summer vacation!

As we close another successful year, we thank our families for your partnership and support. Together, we continue to build a strong school community where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to achieve their goals.
