60 SECONDS WITH THE SUPERINTENDENT
Do you know the story behind the creation of the board game “Candyland?” Our 4th grade students at Kinsner Elementary in Mrs. Adams’ and Mrs. Goloja’s classes recently worked on a Personal Narrative ELA unit, where they read the story of the woman who created the famous board game. The students also had the opportunity to author their own personal narrative stories. Click HERE for more about this meaningful learning experience.

MUSTANG SPOTLIGHT - MS. ALLISON RYAN - FIRST GRADE TEACHER AT CHAPMAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Ms. Allison Ryan has been in our District for three years as a first grade teacher at Chapman Elementary. Ms. Ryan has strong roots in our District - she was in the very first kindergarten class at Kinsner Elementary, went to Center Middle School, and graduated from Strongsville High School. Ms. Ryan recalls that some of her elementary teachers inspired her to become a teacher. Both her undergraduate and graduate degrees are from The Ohio State University.
“I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be one of my students' first teachers and to create a welcoming environment where they can learn and grow. I truly cherish the special connections we build each year as our classroom community grows in kindness and empathy. Watching my students become excited about their learning and more confident in their abilities makes me so proud. I learn from them every day, and they bring me so much joy! I also value the connections I've built with Chapman families and feel grateful to work with a collaborative team of colleagues who always put students first.”
Thank you Ms. Ryan for creating a positive learning environment for your first grade students at Chapman! #ModelMustang
