Welcome To Week 17!

Dear Brahma Family,

Thank you to the Walnut Valley Education Foundation (WVEF) for organizing the Teddy Bear Tea fundraiser last Saturday and for your dedication to supporting education in our schools. It was fun event at the Diamond Bar Center. I failed to win a teddy bear; however, more importantly, numerous DBHS teachers have submitted applications, seeking to utilize a portion of the funds raised for projects that will directly enhance the educational experience of their students through the Teddy Bear Tea Grants.

The WVEF is one of the community organizations through which our parents actively contribute to projects that directly enhance the education of our students. Additionally, our Chinese American Parent Association generously sponsors Mini-Grants for teachers. (Attention, teachers: the deadline for CAPA Mini-Grant applications is this Friday.) Furthermore, our Brahma Boosters provide teachers with opportunities to raise funds for clubs, athletics, and various school organizations through monthly Clothing Drives and Quartermania events. Also, the Brahma Foundation has played a crucial role by contributing funds for significant projects not only this year but also throughout its history.

Our parent organizations are about much more than fundraising. They provide parents with opportunities to connect with other parents, to discuss some of the challenges of raising children in our world today, share best practices and tips for parenting, establish comradery, and develop lasting friendships. Consider joining one of our parent organizations. Our parent groups at DBHS, include:
