Redmen Review

Eighteen students in Mrs. Schaefer's Ag classes attended the Northeast South Dakota Land & Range Judging Contest in Webster, SD, on Wednesday. The land and homesite contests focus on sustainable practices for farming or home building based on a variety of land and soil factors.

Pictured above are Carson and Ella who recieved bronze medals in land judging, and Valerie, who won a bronze in range judging. Also pictured are Cody, assessing soil texture, and Tobi, who was SHS's highest scorer on plant identification.

Students in Theatre I class have had lots of interesting opportunities already this quarter. After studying ancient Greek theatre, they tried their hand at making togas. This past week, they took advantage of the opportunity to learn from the Dakota Players actors during a class workshop.

Congrats to the Oral Interpers who traveled to Arlington with Coach P. this past week. Wylder, Aesa, and Liliana all scored superior performances at their first competition. Best of luck as your season continues!
