Check our the new athletics website!
We have some exciting news! The Gainesville athletics department is launching a new website to better meet the needs of our coaching staff and community. As the year is winding down, we wanted to make a soft launch as we continue to make adjustments and add content to the site.
The new website is https://www.gainesvilleleopards.org/ Please be patient as we work through some of the features of the new site. All schedules, game results, and athletics information for both high school and junior high will be on this site.
A couple of notable features of the new site:
- It comes with a mobile app! Download the app today by scanning the QR code below or search Gainesville Leopards Athletics in the app store of your choice.
- The livestream for events will be easily accessible from our new YouTube channel and can be found straight from the website and mobile app.
- Just as with our previous site, all home game ticketing will be available from this site. We will continue using Hometown Ticketing for our online ticketing.
The new site also offers great sponsorship opportunities for our local businesses! We would like to extend our appreciation to the first sponsors for our new site: Grand Avenue Dental, Brass Bunny Unique Boutiques, North Central Texas College, Physical Therapy Center.

The High School Math Department has been doing numerous projects during the 5th six weeks of school and into the beginning of the 6th six weeks. Mr. Phelps’ Honors Geometry made mock ups of skyscrapers that Mr. Phelps commissioned them to design. They had to create a skyscraper using a minimum of two 3-D shapes. They were told that the outside of the skyscraper was going to be covered in glass. The students had to use their geometry knowledge to find the surface area of the structure to figure out how much glass would be needed for their building. They also had to find the volume of the skyscraper to find out how much air would need to be cooled during a normal work day.
All Pre-Cal classes celebrated Pi day before spring break. They investigated digits of Pi and made a 6 class wide banner of the first 100 digits of pi. It is on display outside of Ms. Nault's room.
Ms. Nault's Honors Pre-Cal did a deep dive into the Unit circle. They then made posters featuring art that had circles, displayed their take on the unit circle, and then practiced their use of the unit circle and found various trigonometric values.
