Message from the Principals
We’re counting down to Parent-Teacher Conferences, taking place from October 29th to 31st. By now, you should have received an invitation from your child’s homeroom teacher to schedule your conference. If you haven’t yet set up a time to meet, please reach out to your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
Our goal is for 100% of families to participate—conferences are a valuable opportunity to stay informed and engaged in your child’s school experience.
As a reminder, use the links below to explore what your child is learning at Arace this month, along with suggested questions to ask at home to encourage meaningful conversations about their learning experiences.
Attendance Matters
Consistent attendance enhances both students’ social development and academic success. We look forward to seeing our scholars in school every day!
If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them home until they are healthy enough to return. To report an absence, email Tammy Broxton at tbroxton@blmfld.org.

CAMS
Hello Families,
October is National Bullying Prevention Month. On Wednesday 10/22, the 7th and 8th grade students will attend a school climate and bullying prevention assembly. Our assembly focuses on empowering students to recognize and prevent bullying. In alignment with our SEL theme of the month, it will focus on students promoting kindness and empathy. We also will discuss how to handle peer to peer conflicts and ways to develop positive conflict resolution skills to create a safe and supportive school environment for everyone.
On Friday 10/24, we will be having a dress out of uniform day for students and staff. Students should wear Orange, to promote empathy, unity, and kindness. The cost for students will be $1.00. All funds collected will go into our school account to be used for students during the 2025-2026 school year to promote a positive school climate.
We would also like to acknowledge our 7th Grade Student, Staff, and Teacher of the Month for October!
Student – Hailey Wright
