Check ParentVue for Student Fees
As part of the preparations to return to school, please check your Fees tab in ParentVue. We had 575 unreturned items at the end of the year, and any materials your student has out are listed in the Fees tab. This can include library books, textbooks, or Chromebooks not renewed last year, as well as any damages assessed for those items. Please make sure those items are returned or paid for so your student can start the year with a clean record and so that all students have access to the materials they need for class! If nothing is listed there, your student does not owe us any materials. Thank you for taking care of any obligations on day one. If you have questions about fees, email cphs@ahschools.us. - Library and Technology Staff

COUNSELOR APPOINTMENTS-HOW TO SCHEDULE
1. Use the QR code in the Student Support office, links in counselor emails, or links on the counseling page of the CPHS website to schedule an appointment with your counselor. You will choose the date and time of your appointment.
2. Use the email confirmation you receive after scheduling the appointment as your pass to leave class. You will NOT receive a paper pass to get out of class.
3. If you miss your appointment, you will need to reschedule.
CPHS REQUESTS FOR SCHEDULE ERROR CORRECTION POLICY
The registration process takes place for a week in January of each year, students choose their courses and alternates at this time. After this window closes students cannot make changes to their request for the following year unless approved by the counselor. Students can review their course request in their StudentVue (under Documents) in the spring as a reminder of what they signed up for. Students' final full schedule will be available to view in StudentVue sometime in August. Students and families are encouraged to view students' full schedule at this time and follow the below information regarding changes. Please review each trimester carefully.
Additional Schedule Error Correction Guidelines:
1. Study Hall, Teacher Assistant (TA) and Office Worker requests must be made the year prior during registration, requests can be made on the above forms but are not guaranteed.
2. Some classes meet for 2 trimesters or all year long. Students are expected to finish the entire course. Students should consult with their School Counselor with any questions.
3. Requests to change lunch time will not be considered.
4. After the first 5 days of a trimester when schedule error correction forms are no longer available, students who want to adjust a class will need to meet with the Administrator in charge. The only exception being medical reasons with provider’s note verification.
5. Schedule changes to accommodate teacher requests cannot be granted unless it is based on a repeated failed course and space is available with another teacher.
6. Changes made beyond the criteria noted above will be made after consultation with the CPHS Administration.
Have a game plan: Fan expectations to ensure safety at school events
Safety at school events continues to be a focus area for the district and surrounding communities. Anoka-Hennepin Schools are committed to creating experiences that showcase the talents of student-athletes in an environment that promotes healthy competition. The district continues to implement safety and security practices to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for participants and spectators.
These guidelines limit entrance to students at participating schools with identification and adult supervision for younger students and increased presence of staff and support personnel amongst other strategies in place to keep our activities safe.
As your family makes a plan to attend school events, keep the following guidelines in mind:
Bring student IDs and allow extra time for admission and entry. Students from the hosting and visiting schools are welcome with student ID. No student ID, no entry. Students from any other schools/non-participating schools must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
Allow extra time for admission and entry. Increased security may mean lines are longer at the entrance gate. Ticket sales time frames may be adjusted during the event, and admission may be denied based on site capacity. Please plan accordingly.
Plan for parent/guardian chaperones in accordance with district guidelines to monitor student activity and behavior. The student-to-adult chaperone ratio is 2:1. Adult chaperones are expected to supervise middle and elementary school students they escorted to the game at all times. Adult chaperones are NOT allowed to leave the stadium without their students. Adult chaperones and students who are unable to follow these guidelines may be asked to leave the facility. Students from any other schools/non-participating schools must also be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
Get behind your team! Spectators are expected to view the event in the appropriate designated seating area.
Leave extra items at home or in your vehicle. Backpacks, large bags/purses and outside food or drink (if concessions are sold on-site) are not allowed. Anoka-Hennepin prohibits weapons, alcoholic beverages, e-cigarettes / vaping, tobacco products and controlled substances.
It takes everyone to keep school events and activities safe. If your student, you or anyone in your family sees something or hears something suspicious or threatening in nature, report the information to school leadership or law enforcement immediately.
Powders and/or airborne irritants prohibited: Students who introduce baby powder or other airborne irritants at events will be removed from the activity and are subject to disciplinary action consistent with district policy. Powders are a health risk and they are prohibited at all events.
Spectators who are unwilling or unable to follow the rules, regulations, or directions from event staff may be asked to leave the event.
PSAT
The PSAT will be offered at Champlin Park HS for juniors on Oct 7th. The cost is $20 or $5 for Free/Reduced and payment is due by Sept 16th. See this document for more information. Additional information was also sent to all junior students and their families through Reach My Teach.

Students planning to go to an east coast or west coast school may take the SAT, although that is not offered through CPHS, majority of students taking the PSAT are doing so to try to earn National Scholar Recognition.

Tech Protect: Device Protection Plan available for families
Technology plays an important role in preparing students for life, and Chromebooks are utilized as a daily learning tool in Anoka-Hennepin middle and high school classrooms. Anoka-Hennepin students in grades 6-12 are assigned a Chromebook from the school district to ensure access to technology systems that support classroom learning.
Over 28,000 Chromebooks are distributed to students the first week of school. As careful as students and schools are, accidents do happen each year - and thousands of Chromebooks are returned at the end of the school year with damages.
Families have the option to enroll in the Device Protection Plan. The enrollment window is open until Friday, Oct. 30, 2026.
The Technology Protection Plan is optional; it is not required, however, by electing not to participate in the Protection Plan, families may be required to reimburse the school district for the replacement or repair of damaged Chromebooks assigned to their student/s. Damaged or broken screens may cost between $50 to $150 depending on parts needed; or the replacement cost for the entire device could be up to $410.
Families can opt-in to the Device Protection Plan by logging into the ParentVue app.
Select your middle or high school student.
Select “fees.”
Select “Pay for Meals, Activities, Fees here.”
Select “Opt-in: Technology Protection Plan.”
The plan cost is $20 per student or $60 per family per school year.
If the student qualifies for free or reduced-price school meals in the 2026-27 school year, the cost of the Protection Plan will be reduced to $0.
Repairs with the Protection Plan are subject to a $20 deductible.
