For the month of October we will be supporting breast cancer awareness month by wearing Pink on Tuesdays. October 1st, students will have an opportunity to spray paint their hair pink sponsored by our MacArthur PTA. Please be sure students arrive between (7:00-7:30 am) to get the opportunity to get their hair spray painted.
We also have a few exciting things going on this month including Red Ribbon Week, the 50th day of school, Fall break ,and our Fall Festival. All flyers are located below for your reference. We will also continue to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month throughout October 15th by wearing Hispanic Attire on Thursdays.
Also, please note this month your child will receive their first report card along with scheduling parent teacher conferences. Please reach out if you are needing assistance accessing report cards online through Skyward so that we may assist you. October also brings our first round of assessments. Please remind your child the importance of doing their best and help us by making sure your child is present every day. These assessments are a tool to see how students are progressing and if any further assistance is needed.
