Principal's Message
Good evening and Happy Friday!
On Tuesday May 6th our Pacific Drive students in 3rd through 6th grade will begin their end-of-year state testing, the CAASPP test. We celebrated our testing kickoff today and it was amazing to see so many of our Pacific Drive Dolphins winning awards for achieving on level or exceeding standards on this test.
I wanted to ask a favor from our Pacific Drive Community for our students. Please be sure students are going to bed nice and early for the next two weeks of testing. A good night's rest before a testing day is crucial. Also, please make sure students have a nutritious breakfast so they plenty of energy for the test. We serve breakfast between 7:45 am and 8:00 am here at Pacific Drive, so if you would like your student to take advantage of that, please be sure to get them here with plenty of time. Lastly, please do your best to get students to school on time. Testing will take place each morning, so an on-time arrival is so important for students to maximize their testing sessions. Thank you Pacific Drive families for your help with these areas, it makes a huge difference for our students and teachers!
Lastly, below are some resources in regards to immigration rights of families and students. Our goal at Pacific Drive and in the Fullerton School District is to provide a safe place of learning for all of our students. We have many resources here on campus should you be interested. Please call the main office if you'd like to learn more at 714-447-7735.
