Important Announcements

Friday night will likely be the biggest regular season football game in TN. It's going to be a spectacle, and I can't wait for our students to contribute to the atmosphere of that game. Please take note of the following out-of-the-ordinary elements of this game:

- We will have a guest conductor for the Star Spangled Banner, Mr. Patrick McDermott. Mr. McDermott is a Houston Band alumnus and is currently the director of Bon Lin Middle school in the wildly successful Bartlett City Schools band programming. I can't wait for Mr. McDermott to lead the band he was once a member of through our nation's anthem.

- Students that are driving themselves should park at Houston Middle School. We are expecting a full stadium for Friday, which means there will not be parking spots for everyone. A shuttle will go back and forth between the two schools on a constant rotation.

- Do not park in the front circle drive.

- If you are dropping off your student, you can drop them off in the front circle drive.

If your student is celebrating senior night, I highly encourage you to purchase tickets in advance. https://gofan.co/event/1599842?schoolId=TN8765 Parent volunteers that are planning on watching any of the game or field show from the stands MUST have a ticket purchased.

Please come cheer at Bandmasters. These students have been working incredibly hard to product a remarkable on-field product. They've proven themselves this year at prior contests, but this one is special. You can sit higher up and enjoy better sounds than any other contest we go to throughout the season. Come by, sit with other Houston supporters, and cheer on our students this Saturday!

Bring family, friends, neighbors, and anyone else you can think of! GO MUSTANGS!

• Clap for soloists and section features!

"Pit Crew" help move things from our staging areas to the performance space and back. These parent volunteers ensure that students are not arriving to their performance exhausted and out of breath!
