Principal's Message
Dear Sam Morgan Families,
As we wrap up this unforgettable school year, we want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership. This year’s theme—“Dive Into Learning”—was more than just a slogan; it became a spirit that guided us through every lesson, every challenge, and every celebration.
Our students dove headfirst into learning with enthusiasm and curiosity, and along the way, they made incredible memories that brought our school community closer than ever. This year was packed with joy and connection. We gathered together at our Fall Picnic on the Lawn, we danced around the track during our Halloween Parade, and enjoyed a magical evening of Trunk-or-Treating, where creativity and community spirit lit up the parking lot. We gathered in warmth and music at our Holiday Sing-Along, and shared warm clothing gathered by our students with another elementary school in need. We dove into reading as a school and read the book Odder, by Katherine Applegate, and celebrated Reading Week with activities planned by the PTA. We shared heartfelt moments during HOPE Week, reminding us of the kindness and compassion our students carry every day. The school fundraiser reminded us of the LOVE our community has for Morgan, and the school play, Little Mermaid, brought our stage to life with talent and teamwork. We are concluding our last five weeks of school with activities planned by our Student Council to keep everyone engaged in learning and building relationships.
To our sixth graders: We are so proud of you! You’ve led with heart, energy, and determination, and we know you're ready to dive into junior high with confidence. You’ll always be part of our Morgan family.
As we head into summer, we encourage all our students to keep exploring and learning. Read often, stay curious, and take time to play and recharge. Most of all, enjoy every moment with your family—you’ve earned it!
Thank you for an incredible year. We can’t wait to welcome you back in August as we launch into a brand new adventure!
Best Wishes,
Ms. Nichols & Mrs. Ewell
Damage from E Bikes, Bikes, and Scooters on our field
Dear School Community,
We’ve recently seen damage to our school field and playground areas caused by electric bikes and scooters, including spinning out in the toy areas, which displaces wood chips and creates safety concerns. To help protect our school grounds, clear signage has been posted stating that bikes, scooters, and all motorized vehicles (including E-Bikes) are not permitted on school property. Please be aware that the Kaysville Police Department is actively enforcing this rule and issuing citations for violations. We appreciate your support in keeping our school a safe and welcoming place for all students.

Morgan Elementary's HOPE Squad delivered the cereal donated by our school community to Mountain High School's Teen Center. Mrs. Brewster, Morgan's school counselor, arranged for this service project. It was wonderful seeing our students' efforts bless the lives of others. Thank you everyone who donated cereal!
