On Friday, October 27th, our Grade 4 students had a wonderful field trip to the Andover Center for History & Culture. It was a great opportunity to connect classroom learning with local history!

Looking ahead:

• Monday, October 28th: Picture Retakes will take place. If your child needs a retake, please make sure they bring their original photo packet with them.
• Next Friday: Kindergarten students will not have school due to conferences.
• If you are coming in for a party this week in your child's classroom, you MUST have a CORI on file.

We also enjoyed an incredible Spirit Week! Students and staff had a fantastic time celebrating together. Be sure to check out the pictures below to see all the fun and spirit in action.

We are excited to introduce a survey as part of our multi-year Sanborn playground project, which is currently in its initial planning phase. Your input is essential as we work to design a space that meets the needs and interests of our entire school community. This project will take time and evolve over the coming years, and we value your thoughts and ideas to help guide us in creating a safe, fun, and inclusive playground for everyone. Please take a moment to share your feedback through the survey so we can build something great together! Survey's are due 10/30.

• The Scholastic Book Fair is coming! The Book Fair will be held Monday, November 18 through Friday, November 22. Scholastic Book Fair flyers will be coming home with students soon. In the meantime, we are looking for volunteers to help us make the Book Fair a success – come join us by signing up here! • Stay Connected with the Sanborn Family Directory! To participate and receive a digital copy, please go to Aspen, click on "Family Connection-Back to School Forms" and select "Update" next to your student's name. In the section labeled "Permissions" ensure you've checked "Yes" on the 2nd question: "Do you wish to participate in a school based Family Contact List..." Make sure you save your changes! Please do this for ALL children in your family. The deadline for inputs is November 1st!
• We've got spirit! A new branded Sanborn Spirit Store will be available for orders between November 4 and November 15. The store will feature both Sanborn and Town of Andover sweatshirts, t-shirts, pants, hats, and more. Stay tuned for a store link!
