Civics
Recently, 8th grade civic students virtually visited the National Constitution Center for a “Civic Story” talk. Each class worked with a professional content expert from the center and students analyzed a primary source document. At first, they didn't know what it was, it was uncovered by the end of the talk. It was Ben Franklin’s report card which he kept for himself on civic virtues. This not only allowed students to practice their skills in history, but it also gave them a lesson on good citizenship. A big thank you to the National Constitution Center for providing this free program and working with WB's awesome civics students.

Highlights:
The Varsity Softball Team beat Bristol Aggie 12-9 on Thursday to start the season off with a win. Regan Bryant pitched 7 innings with 12 strikeouts for the win and added in 2 hits at the plate. Lacey Roche hit her first varsity Homerun along with 3 other hits while scoring 4 runs. Alanna Fidalgo had a great over the shoulder catch at shortstop and also had 4 hits. Best of luck to all of our Spring Athletes as they get their seasons under way. Go Wildcats!
Unified Basketball:
The unified basketball team closed out their 2026 season hosting a jamboree in the gym on May 30th. They welcomed students from Canton, Walpole, and Dartmouth and played four tough matches. Captains Christian O’Connor and Adri Guardione kicked the event off by reading the athlete’s oath and then led their teammates with great communication on the court. Enzo Vieira, Geoffrey Simmons, and Jack Murphy led with assists, setting their teammates up for success. Zach Folger and Abbey Laime held down the fort on offense, getting rebounds and putting up points for the Wildcats during key moments. Defensive strategy ultimately kept the team in the game thanks to hustle from Sasby Bien-Aime, Bryan Mundler, and Sebastian Barrows who forced countless turnovers in the final moments of the last matchup. Congrats to all of our unified athletes and Coach Spadea on a great season!
