On behalf of our entire staff, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the incredible outpouring of appreciation during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. We truly felt loved, spoiled, and deeply valued.
From the thoughtful notes and delicious treats to the beautiful flowers and generous gifts, every gesture lifted our spirits and reminded us of the impact we are making. The time, care, and creativity you poured into making us feel special did not go unnoticed. Each kind word and act of appreciation meant the world to us. It is moments like these that refill our cups and remind us that we are surrounded by an extraordinary community.
Thank you for seeing us, celebrating us, and for always partnering with us in the most meaningful ways. We are truly grateful to be part of such a caring and generous school community.
We also want to take a moment to celebrate our amazing 3rd and 4th graders for completing their state testing! We are so proud of their hard work, focus, and perseverance. This assessment is just one way we see their growth and they truly showed up with determination and heart. Their effort reflects the daily learning and leadership happening in classrooms and we are incredibly proud of them!
This week, our 5th graders will continue with the science portion of the assessment. We know they will bring the same level of commitment and confidence as they finish strong. We believe in their brilliance and are excited for them to shine.
As we reflect and grow together as a school, we ask all families to please take a few moments to complete the Leader in Me Measurable Results Assessment (MRA).
This anonymous survey provides us with valuable feedback on how we are doing in the areas of leadership, culture, and academics. Your input helps us understand what is working and where we can improve as a school community. Together, we build the foundation for every student to lead and learn. Your thoughts and viewpoints are important to us and we thank you in advance for completing the MRA.
Lastly, please complete the Returning Student Survey linked below to let us know your plans for the 2025–26 school year. If your family is planning a move or a change in schools, your early notice helps us plan class sizes, staffing, and grade-level configurations thoughtfully and proactively.
Our schools are staffed based on enrollment numbers so if you have a child entering kindergarten next year or know a family in the neighborhood that is planning on enrolling here at Jones, we can help start the enrollment process now!

Jones Elementary PTA
Our Parent Teacher Association works with Jones Elementary to provide programs and support to benefit the students, their families, teachers, school administration and the community. Run entirely by volunteers, the PTA raises money to support enrichment programs, program instructors, educational assemblies and field trips, family events, and special classroom supplies.
As always, we need your membership, support and ability to volunteer. You can become a member using Totem, a respected membership management service. Please contact us with other thoughts on how we are doing, and your ideas on how you can become involved. We look forward to hearing from you.
