NEWSLETTER - NOVEMBER 2025
MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Dear Bodhian Family,
As I look back on last a few weeks, I do so with a deep sense of pride, gratitude, and fulfilment. It has been a remarkable period for Bodhi International School, marked by the successful culmination of several significant events, each extremely close to my heart and truly reflective of what Bodhi stands for.
Our Career Fair was a proud milestone, with over 50 leading national and global universities participating. As I walked through the venue, I observed students engaging in meaningful conversations—asking thoughtful questions, exploring possibilities, and imagining futures beyond boundaries. One such moment—watching a student confidently articulate aspirations to a university representative—beautifully captured the spirit of Bodhi: empowered learners making informed choices. As rightly said, “Education is not about filling minds, but about opening doors.”
This month also gave us the joy of celebrating Children’s Day, a day that reminded us why we do what we do. Our younger students were taken to a local picnic spot, where laughter, games, and carefree moments filled the air, while our senior students travelled to Jaisalmer, creating memories of friendship, exploration, and joy. Watching their excitement took me back to my own childhood, when a simple school picnic meant weeks of anticipation and stories that lasted far beyond the day itself. Those moments of happiness, I believe, are as important as lessons in a classroom—they shape confident, joyful individuals.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to our students, parents, teachers, support staff, and the entire Bodhi team for their dedication and collaborative spirit. These successes are not events in isolation—they are milestones in our ongoing journey of nurturing excellence, values, and globally minded citizens.
Together, we continue to grow, inspire, and lead with purpose.
Brahmam Bodhi!
Ms. Nitu Bothra

The Inter-House Eco-Innovation Challenge for Grades 9 to 12 was organised to encourage students to think creatively and innovatively about environmental conservation. The event provided a valuable platform for students to showcase their ideas through working and non-working models addressing real-life environmental issues.
Students presented a diverse range of projects. Most teams effectively used eco-friendly and recycled materials and explained their projects through charts and presentations.
Projects were judged on relevance to the theme, creativity and innovation, practical feasibility, presentation, and teamwork. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and strong collaboration across houses, with many projects demonstrating practical and sustainable solutions.
The event successfully fostered environmental awareness, critical thinking, and teamwork among students, reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible and environmentally conscious citizens.
IH Logo Logic
On 19 November 2025, the "Logo Logic" competition brought together thinkers from Grades 6, 7, and 8 in a high-pressure display of artistic and marketing genius. This inter-house event required participants to think on their feet and produce a full print advertisement and logo for a product revealed only at the beginning of the session.
Four houses, namely Agastya, Aryabhata, Chanakya, and Drona, participated in the event, with three dedicated learners from Grades 6, 7, and 8 in each team. Teams worked collaboratively in a focused, no-audience environment.
To excel, participants had to seamlessly combine art and creativity with a strong marketing sense. The rubrics stated that each advertisement should be executed on A3-size paper and include four key elements: an original and hand-designed logo; an attention-catching jingle or tagline; the product name; and an appealing, handmade, detailed product illustration.
Following strict criteria, students were only allowed to use their own art supplies-paints and brushes-and nothing else; no digital tools, no stencils, and no printed references. Final submissions were judged on creativity, neatness, and how well the design got the message of the product across.
This was indeed a highly successful event as the teams from Agastya, Aryabhata, Chanakya, and Drona gave it their all. The excellent quality of the handmade visuals spoke not only of the technical skills of the students but also of their ability to think critically on the aspects of branding and consumer engagement under pressure.
Children’s Day
Every child who walked into school today carried a spark that made the day brighter. Celebrating them reminded us of the magic of growing, learning, and discovering the world with open hearts. Happy Children’s Day to the young minds who make Bodhi a place of joy, hope, and possibility.
