April
2025
Dear County Line Families,
As spring unfolds, it brings a renewed sense of energy and excitement to our school community! With April upon us, we are eager to share a variety of wonderful activities and important updates. We encourage you to read through the upcoming events from our district and our PTA.
Our Comet Superheroes are illuminating the path at County Line each month! We are delighted to continue recognizing our students who exemplify responsibility, respect, and safety through our Comet Code Celebration. Their dedication to fostering a positive school culture is truly inspiring!
We sincerely appreciate your partnership in creating a welcoming and successful learning community at County Line. Please stay connected with us through our school website, newsletters, and social media for the latest updates.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and we wish you a wonderful April!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Schultz

Nominate a Teacher!
The Herb Kohl Educational Foundation funds the Teacher Fellowship and Principal Leadership Awards. The purpose of the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Award Program is to recognize outstanding teachers and support them in continuing to pursue academic excellence. DPI, the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators (AWSA) and the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation co-administer these programs. Teacher Fellowship – Fellowships in the amount of $6,000 are awarded each year to 100 Wisconsin teachers. Each fellow’s school also receives a $6,000 grant. Congratulations CL Destination Imagination Teams!
We have four County Line Destination Imagination teams this year and all four of them qualified for the state tournament in Sun Prairie on April 5th. That means they all placed in the top 3 in their divisions at the regional tournament on March 15th! The "Kit Cats" took 1st place in the Improv challenge; the "GTown Cheeseballs!!!" took 2nd place in the Technical challenge; the "Kool Aide Pups" took 3rd place in the Fine Arts challenge; and "DIs or Dat" took 3rd place in the Service Learning challenge.
Destination Imagination seeks to foster teamwork and creativity. Teams started meeting in November and have been working hard on their challenges. Their hard work and creativity really showed at regionals. Congratulations and good luck at state!

Has your child lost anything at school? Have them stop by the lost and found to claim. Our lost and found is located by our library.
It's always important to label your mittens, hats, gloves, etc. in case they become lost.
Our April PTA meeting will be held in the library at County Line at 6:30PM on 4/7. All are welcome! Please consider coming to this month's meeting.
Please note: the back doors (off of Colonial Drive) will be open for your attendance.
