Just Can't Hide That Panther Pride
November 2-8
It has been a busy and exciting fall season, and just like that, football and volleyball have wrapped up! We are incredibly proud of the hard work, determination, and heart our Panthers showed throughout their seasons. Our athletes represented Sheridan well, and we appreciate the time, effort, and commitment they put into their teams. A big thank-you to our coaches, families, and community members who supported our athletes along the way. Now, it's time to turn our attention to basketball season, and we look forward to another great season of Panther athletics!
A reminder that our annual Harvest Dinner is this Wednesday! We look forward to bringing our school families and senior community together for a great evening.
And finally, a little late, but better late than never! We are excited to recognize and celebrate our Students of the Month from September. Congratulations to these students for representing the qualities we love to see in our Panthers. Thank you for being great examples of what it means to work hard, be kind, and lead by example!

Sheridan Athletic Booster Club
The Sheridan Athletic Booster Club is looking for parents, families, alumni, and community members who want to help support our Sheridan Panther student-athletes and school sports programs!
You don’t have to have a student currently playing a sport to be involved. Whether you can volunteer at an event, help with concessions, assist with fundraising, or simply lend a hand when needed, every bit of help makes a difference.
The Booster Club works throughout the year to support Sheridan athletics, recognize our student-athletes, and help create a positive and exciting experience for our students and community.
We need volunteers, new ideas, and Panther supporters!
If you’re looking for a way to get involved in our school and community, we would love to have you join us.
It takes all of us to support our Panthers!
If you would like more information on how to donate or get involved, please contact Alecia McDougal at 406-596-9819 or Ridgley Elser 406-596-4495.

Discipline Policy
At Sheridan, we believe in providing students with multiple opportunities to correct their behavior and learn from their actions. If a student receives a write-up, they will have two additional opportunities to improve their behavior during the same week. However, if a student receives three write-ups within one week, the following consequences will apply:
- First Offense: The student will serve detention.
- Second Offense: The student will serve In-School (ISS).
- Third Offense: The student will be assigned Friday School.
This system is designed to encourage personal responsibility and positive behavior while giving the students the chance to make better choices. Our goal is to support students in learning and growing from their mistakes, so they can be successful in both their academic and personal lives. The Administration does have the discretion to proceed to further disciplinary actions if the offense(s) warrant these actions.
Cell Phone Policy *NEW*
Students may not use cellular phones and other electronic signaling devices (smart watches, Bluetooth headphones, etc.) during the school day. 7th-12th grade students will turn their phone or device into the office each morning. The item will be returned to the student at the end of the school day. At no time may a student operate a device in a locker room, bathroom, or any location where operation of the device may violate the privacy rights of another person. Unauthorized use of such devices disrupts the instructional program and distracts from the learning environment.
Unauthorized use is grounds for confiscation of the device by school officials, including administration, classroom teachers, and paraprofessionals. Confiscated devices will be returned to the student at the end of the school day for the first offense. The second offense: a parent or guardian will have to come to the school to get the device. For the third offense, the student will be assigned a one-day in-school suspension (ISS). Repeated unauthorized use of such devices will result in disciplinary action as deemed necessary by the Administration.
