The Weekly Update #4

Good Afternoon Molin Community,

I hope you're enjoying a fantastic summer! The Molin School custodians are hard at work making sure the classrooms are fresh and ready for the 2026-2027 school year. My name is Tara Rossi, and I'm excited to be starting my 15th year as the Principal of the Molin School. We have an amazing team here, and we're committed to ensuring that every student and family feels welcomed, safe, and supported.

Our 4th and 5th-grade teams will be holding meet-and-greets on Tuesday, September 1st, from 1-2. The first day of school is Wednesday, September 2nd.

Teacher assignments will be released for all Molin students in the Family Portal of Aspen on August 18th, 2026 at noon.

If you do not have a Family Portal Username and Password, please email: aspen@newburyport.k12.ma.us

Indicate that you need a Family Portal Account and include the following information:

• Your Name

• Student's Name

• Student's Date of Birth

• Student's Year of Graduation

All Molin teachers have a website and will have their welcome letter and supply list posted on the 18th.

We understand that the start of a new school year can bring a mix of excitement and anticipation. We want to assure you that our dedicated teachers excel at creating a strong sense of community in their classrooms, fostering an environment where all students can thrive. Each classroom is thoughtfully balanced to support diverse learning styles and personalities, ensuring every child has a positive experience. We kindly ask that you trust this process and refrain from requesting changes to classroom assignments. Rest assured, your child will have ample opportunities to make new friends, and we have found that students are incredibly resilient and adaptable. With your support, we’re confident this will be a fantastic year for everyone!

School Communication

A school-wide communication called the “Molin News” will be emailed weekly during the school year with timely updates on events and school initiatives. We also encourage you to visit the Molin website throughout the year for updates and resources.
