Deep Dive Into Math Intervention For Administrators Deep Dive Into Math Intervention For Administrators

December 10, 2026 9:00-2:00 What does intervention look like and sound like as you focus on implementing SB 19, the Ohio K12 Plan for Mathematics - and most importantly ensuring that all students have the support they need to grow as math thinkers and problem solvers. Research shows that a student's math background by MS can impact their earning potential 10 years out of high school. Math is in the world around us all the time - and we need to empower all students to see themselves as "math people". We will look at specific strategies for supporting math intervention starting in K-3 and moving through grades 5-12. This workshop is a culminating event for the 3 part webinar series offered in the fall. [ODEW Priority: Learning Acceleration, SB 19, OH K12 Plan For Mathematics]

Tapping Into the Power Of Performance Level Descriptors In Mathematics Gr K-10 Tapping Into the Power Of Performance Level Descriptors In Mathematics Gr K-10

December 17, 2026 9:00-3:00 Performance Level Descriptors are descriptions of 5 students who fall along a continuum of learning across the standards in your classroom. These PLDs are the starting point for creating your own assessments or evaluating the vendor assessments you are using to gather evidence of learning. PLDS are also important in building learning opportunities that will help all of your students grow in their learning. Time will be provided to use the PLDs to work with your own instructional materials and assessment tools. [ODEW Priority: Learning Acceleration, SB 19, OH K12 Plan For Mathematics]
