Thank you for the opportunity to serve the children, families, and taxpayers of the Upper Darby School District. As part of the School Board communication plan, the Board sends monthly updates to the school community. The information included in these briefs is not intended to be complete and does not replace official Board minutes. Official meeting minutes, agendas, reports, and presentations are available at BoardDocs. Also, the Board meetings are live streamed to the District's Official UDSD Board & Board Committee Meetings YouTube Channel. We welcome you to follow the issues the School Board is considering and to attend meetings to stay informed.

The Board approved an award for the General Contractor of the District’s Secondary School Libraries Renovation Project to McCarthy Construction of Glenolden, PA. The libraries at Upper Darby High School, Beverly Hills Middle School, and Drexel Hill Middle School will all be refurbished and updated.

The Board approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Salus University to provide comprehensive vision care services and two free pairs of eyeglasses to Upper Darby School District students. District Nurses will identify the students and eyeglasses will be provided at no cost to the students or to Upper Darby School District.

The Board approved the formation of designated clubs and activities at Upper Darby High School, Drexel Hill Middle School, and Beverly Hills Middle School for the 2023-2024 school year as submitted and in accordance with policy no. 122-AR-6. These clubs include culture, crafting, gaming, and academic clubs. The full list can be found here.
