A Message from Dr. Stabler
Dear AHE Families,
We have successfully completed our first nine-week grade reporting period. As you are engaging in parent-teacher conferences and learning of your child’s current academic performance, know that you already have access to your child’s report card through Infinite Campus Parent Portal as of October 18, 2024. This is where parents can view assignments/grades, progress reports, and report cards. If you have not created an account, please visit the Infinite Campus Parent Portal website.
Carpool Safety
In order for us to ensure the safety of our students, we need everyone to follow our carpool procedures. Abbotts Hill Elementary has only one carpool lane. Please stay in your cars and refrain from parking and crossing the carpool lane to drop children off. We have had too many "close calls" due to students crossing in front of cars, attended and not attended by parents, cars pulling in and out of parking spots, cars parking in unauthorized areas and walking children to the front entrance, etc. Again, there is only one carpool lane for morning arrival and afternoon pickup. Please help us keep our students safe. Morning arrival begins at 7:10 and ends at 7:40. We have noticed that there is very little or no cars in our carpool line from 7:20 - 7:30. Please pace yourselves in the morning and help us with this matter.
ANNUAL PARENT PERCEPTION SURVEY
It is that time of the year again! Please take some time to complete the survey. As a school, our parent participation over the past three years was as follows:
2022 - 29%
2024 - 33%
2024 - 18%
I challenge each of you to help us reach at least 50% this year!
This survey allows parents the opportunity to tell us what they think about their student’s schools and the district. While we always make it a priority to listen to our parents, this survey affords us another opportunity to receive your thoughts and opinions.
The survey is anonymous and confidential. Please complete one survey per school where you have one or more students enrolled. The survey will remain open from Wednesday, October 16 through Friday, November 22.
It’s not only parents we want to hear from. Our students’ opinions are important too! Students in grades 3-12 will be provided with the opportunity to take the Annual Student Perception Survey between October 17 and November 22 during the school day. In our ongoing efforts to remain transparent with parents, please take a moment to review the 3-5 student survey and/or the 6-12 Student Survey.
The Annual Perception Survey is currently available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Hindi, and Punjabi. If you or your family would like to take it in a language that is not listed, please email your child’s principal.
The parent FAQ is now available in:
To access the parent survey, click https://www.fultonschools.org/AnnualParentSurvey or scan the QR code with a smartphone. Thank you in advance for making your voice heard!
