MTPS Families,

As we push further into August, there is a tangible and positive energy building across our district. The start of a new school year always brings a fresh sense of promise, and everywhere you look in MTPS, our teams are actively gearing up to make 2026–2027 our most vibrant and inspiring one yet.

Behind the scenes, our educators and administrators are deeply engaged in summer professional development, fine-tuning curriculum, and setting the stage for dynamic, student-centered learning. Every lesson plan being drafted and every classroom being set up reflects our shared goal: to spark curiosity and build momentum from day one.

August also marks the start of many cherished traditions that bridge the transition back to school. Over the coming weeks, we will host orientations, transition programs, and welcome sessions across all our buildings. These gatherings are wonderful opportunities for our students to explore their surroundings, meet their teachers, and feel fully supported as they step into this next chapter.
