Headteacher's comment
Good afternoon all
I'd like to start off this week's newsletter with a great big 'well done' to all of our Year 6 children. The way you approached your SATs, this week, was exemplary. You all gave your absolute best and that is all we can ask of you. An enormous thank you also goes out to all of the adults involved in making the week run so smoothly.
Next week is the final week of summer term 1 and we will have our usual attendance awards in Friday's Learning Champions assembly.
Elsewhere in school, we have Y6 Bikeability, a non-uniform day on Friday for Rainbow Raffle donations and there will be auditions for the talent show on Friday. Miss Vaughan has sent more information out about this today.
Have a fantastic weekend and I will see you all on Monday.
Mr Mitchell.

Sunny weather
As the sunny summer weather arrives, please remember to send your child to school with a sun hat and a water bottle each day, and ensure they have suncream applied before arriving in the morning. If you would like your child to have their own bottle of suncream in school, please make sure it is clearly labelled with their name and hand it directly to the class teacher. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and comfortable in the sun!
School collection
A reminder to all parents and carers: for the safety and wellbeing of our pupils, it is essential that we are informed if anyone other than those named on your childβs record will be collecting them at the end of the day. If you need to make alternative collection arrangements, please contact the school office as soon as possible to let us know who will be collecting your child. We are unable to release children to anyone who is not listed or authorised by you, and identification may be required when they arrive. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep all children safe.
