ECFE, Pre-K 3's and Mini Adventures registration is open but space is limited! Please share with friends and family!

The Family Center will also be hosting a small resource fair including the following community organizations: Columbia Heights Public Library, Disability Hub, Ready Set Smile, Be SMART

Anoka County Child and Teen Check Up and Metro North ABE.

The Family Center dental clinic, hosted by Ready Set Smile, will be on September 9 by appointment.

This is a dental clinic for children and focuses on preventative care and referrals as needed.

Join us for Summer ECFE Park Meet Ups!

We have 2 more meet ups in August before the school year starts.

August 6 - Huset Park (bring a swim suit for the splash pad!)

August 13 - Ostrader Park

Staff will be onsite from 9:30-11am and will lead a short group time around 9:30am.

Promote positive health and developmental outcomes and kindergarten readiness starting at the age of three (3) years. During screening, your child’s speech, motor, and cognitive skills are reviewed.

Your child will have their height, weight, vision, and hearing checked.

You will participate in a summary interview to review the screening process, your child's social and emotional skills, and discuss any concerns you may have. Screenings last approximately 60 minutes and are held at the Family Center.

Minnesota Reads and Unite for Literacy are now offering a free online library! This resources includes books for young children and includes narration in over 60 languages including ASL (American Sign Language). Check them out today by clicking the blue banner below.
