Monday Notes - (FEW CORRECTIONS)

Happy Halloween week! I hope your days are filled with more treats than tricks. It’s hard to believe how quickly the semester is flying by. As we head into November, please take a moment to review the important reminders below.

As you know, this year’s audition process has shifted from a “live record” to a “digital upload” format for all portions of the audition, except for the sight-reading component. Below are several tutorial links to guide you through the new process.

Please, please, please review the above videos, especially the last video! If after watching the above videos, you have questions please reach out to Neil or Amy.

If your school has issued you a Dell laptop, please be aware that many of these models don’t have the processing power needed to record auditions smoothly. We recommend using another computer, your own device, a school desktop, or another reliable option, to avoid technical issues during recording.

Audition results will be shared as soon as the adjudication team has completed the rankings, but they will not be available this week. Once ready, results will be sent to you and your students through OpusEvent and posted on the website. There’s no need to reach out about the timing—everyone will be notified as soon as results are ready.

We are using a new credit card processing application for luncheon tickets that doesn't charge NMMEA a fee however there is a donation option back to the company. You can simply select "other" and leave it zero if you do not wish to donate.
