iSVA Weekly Update

Check out how our school community showed up and brought the energy all week long.

The fun doesn't stop here! Keep making smart choices, staying drug-free, and being the best version of YOU!

As the days get shorter and schedules get busier, it's a great time to hit the reset button! Mrs. Harwood, iSVA Success Coach, is sharing some helpful tips in her video, Mid-Season Adjustments: Fall Evenings Reset. Take a few minutes to watch and get some ideas for making your evenings a little easier!

🍁 5 Easy Ways to Reset Your Evening:

• 🎒 Get Ready for Tomorrow: Charge your Chromebook, gather your supplies, and make a quick to-do list.
• 📵 Take a Screen Break: Step away from your phone, games, or computer for a little while.
• 🧹 Tidy Up: Spend 5 minutes cleaning up your workspace so you're ready to focus tomorrow.
• 🧠 Clear Your Mind: Listen to music, read, draw, or enjoy a few quiet minutes.

• 🌙 Wind Down: Get comfy and give yourself time to relax before bedtime.

✨ Your Challenge: Pick ONE thing to try tonight! You don't have to change your whole routine to have a better evening. Small changes can make a BIG difference. Remember, working hard is important, but making time to recharge is, too! 💛

Keep showing up, turning in assignments, and giving your best effort. Every little step counts, so stay focused and finish strong. You've got this!

Whether you're joining us in person or virtually, find all the ceremony details below!

We’re kicking off graduation weekend with our Online Commencement on Friday, June 4, 2027 at 6:00 PM, giving loved ones near and far a front-row seat to the celebration. Then, we head to the Curtis Culwell Center on Sunday, June 6, 2027 at 2:00 PM to cross the stage in person.

Let’s make this an unforgettable send-off for the iSVA Class of 2027! 🎓

For the online ceremony, please note:

• This is a view-only event. Students and families will not appear on camera at any point. The only exceptions are the valedictorians and salutatorians, who will appear in video segments

• Graduates’ names will be displayed, but there is no need to turn on your camera or join a video call.

• Simply click the provided link (stay tuned for this as we get closer) at the scheduled time to watch the ceremony live.

• Seniors will have the opportunity to create a personalized slide to be featured during the online ceremony, allowing each graduate to be recognized and celebrated in a meaningful way. Additional details, including submission instructions and deadlines, will be communicated at a later date.

We hope this makes it easy for everyone to enjoy the celebration from home!

Stay tuned! More details about both ceremonies to come!
