Glenn Public School Eagle Post
February 2026
Superintendent's Nest
Welcome to February! January sure was wild with snow days. Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, so we are supposed to have six more weeks of winter! We do live in Michigan, and the weather changes so quickly; we shall see if Phil is correct. Either way, please get outside and enjoy winter! South Haven has a great sledding hill and an ice rink to visit!
Thank you to everyone who donated to the American Heart Association Fundraiser! As a school, we were able to raise $350.00 to donate! Prizes were given to those who participated. Everyone who participated received a heart with their name on it and posted on The Giving Tree wall!
During the month of February, we will be collecting jars of peanut butter. We will donate the jars to Ladders of Hope in Fennville at the end of the month. I have a goal of 50 jars! Please send them in or drop them off under The Giving Tree in the hallway by the office. Thank you for helping our students be great citizens by helping those in need.
The PTC will be holding a fundraiser during the month of March called Read-a-Thon.
Sincerely,
Ms. Jamie Walle

Giving Day
On March 19th donations contributed to the Glenn School fund at Allegan County Community Foundation will be matched. This is a great way for your impact to go even further to support our students.
Attendance Matters
Every single day of school adds up. Poor attendance can impact reading skills by 3rd grade, lead to missed opportunities, and even increase the risk of dropping out later on. On the other hand, when students improve their attendance, they improve their academic success and future opportunities.
Let’s work together to make every day count—for learning, for growth, and for success!
