Our school is organizing a food drive throughout the month to support local families in need. Please consider contributing non-perishable food items to help make a difference in our community.
  • Awards Ceremony: Celebrating Achievement and Excellence Join us in celebrating the achievements and hard work of our outstanding students at our upcoming Awards Ceremony November 28th - November 30th. It's a momentous occasion to honor their dedication and accomplishments.
  • Ending Testing Season: Embracing Growth and Progress With the conclusion of the testing season, I want to commend our students for their resilience and determination. Their efforts reflect a commitment to growth, and we are proud of their hard work throughout this period.
  • Introducing Clubs: Exploring Passions and Unleashing Creativity We're excited to introduce a variety of clubs aimed at fostering students' interests and talents. From chess and coding to creative writing and environmental clubs, there's something for every passion. Stay tuned for more details on how your child can get involved.
  • Thanksgiving Break: Time for Togetherness A reminder that our school will be closed from Wednesday, November 22nd - Friday, November 24th for the Thanksgiving holiday. May this time allow for cherished moments of togetherness and gratitude with loved ones.
  • Safety Reminders and Community Support Our commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment remains steadfast. Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation in adhering to our safety protocols. Your involvement in our school community truly makes a difference.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to our dedicated staff if you have any questions or need further information. Your partnership is crucial in ensuring the success and well-being of our students.

Federal Impact Aid Survey 2023-2024

This year, we are launching a campaign to ensure the maximum participation in our Federal Impact Aid survey so that we can receive the maximum amount of Federal funds. We need your help to ensure all of our families fill out the survey. The need for federal grant funds to support our schools is needed now more than ever. The annual Impact Aid Survey Form is now digital and will need to be completed electronically for each student. The Federal Impact Aid Survey is available online through Scrib Online starting on Monday, October 16th, 2023 through Sunday, December 31st, 2023. We encourage families to fill out the survey. To assist with this, see the following video. It provides all the information needed to access the survey on Scribbles and how to fill it out. Attached you will also find a brief presentation in pdf format with information about the Federal Impact Aid Survey.

Thank you again for your support and your commitment. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please feel free to reach out to our office.

Afternoon Dismissal

The PikMyKid Afternoon Dismissal Program is up and running and has aided in decreasing the wait time for scholar pick up. It is imperative that parents and guardians arrive on time. Starting the week of December 4, 2023 late notices will be issued to parents arriving after the the close of dismissal.

Early dismissal ends at 2:15 p.m. Following that time, regular dismissal will commence; any parent who picks up a child more than two times without relevant documentation will be required to meet with the school administration team about the matter. Only individuals listed on the EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM will be allowed to pick up students from the school during the school day. A valid picture ID will be required for any individual picking up students. If someone arrives at the school to seek the release of a student and the person’s name is not on the emergency contact card and/or the person does not have valid photo identification, the student will not be released. Additionally, early dismissal after a field trip is not permitted. Parents must contact the school before 2:15 p.m. to change a child’s dismissal procedure for the day.

  • Scheduled early dismissals will require parents to complete the Early Dismissal Google Form within 24 hours of the scheduled dismissal. The google form will be shared on class dojo.
  • Upon arrival, parents will contact the main office for scholar collection.
  • Parents/Guardians will be required to show identification for pick-up.
  • Non-scheduled emergency early dismissal will require parents/guardians to contact the Main Office upon arrival/once aware of the need to pick -up and show identification (must be aligned to SchoolMax)
  • Anyone who does not complete the google form within 24 hours will have to wait until the normal dismissal time/procedures. This helps ensure a safe and smooth dismissal for all.
