Hola Georgia Brown Families!
Playground Update
We have great news to share: playground construction is scheduled to start on November 24.
Please note there will be some temporary changes to our campus while work is underway. Fencing will be installed in the construction zone. These measures are intended to keep students and staff safe throughout the project.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this phase of improvement to our campus. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to the main office.

PTO News
Happy Thanksgiving from PTO! We are so thankful for the support and teamwork our PTO has received to give our students a great school experience.
Thank you Rikki Rylance and team for pulling together a wonderful morning for our Tiger Community at Pastries with Parents.
Fifth grade is still raising funds for Science Camp by selling tickets to a Yeti Cooler filled with lots of local gift cards and goods. Are you able to help the 5th graders get to camp? Purchase your ticket(s) using the QR code for a chance to win. We are 25% of our goal of $60k! Help us make it happen for this once in a lifetime experience for our Tigers! Last day to purchase is December 12th.
*5th Grade Parents* Thanksgiving break is a great time to hit up extended family and neighbors. Please help your child sell their packet of tickets, and remember all sold and unsold tickets need to be returned by December 12th.
Thank you the PREA for your donation to science camp! Your support is greatly appreciated.
Our next PTO meeting will be on Thursday, December 11th at 5:30 in the library. Hope to see you there!

Birthday Celebrations
Thank you for wanting to celebrate your student. We love to celebrate each child! Please consider the following suggestions when planning to bring in a treat for your student’s birthday:
- Some students in the class may have allergies, so bringing edible treats can unintentionally exclude them from participating.
- Please contact the teacher before bringing in treats to confirm they are safe and appropriate for the class.
- Some grade levels have a designated day each month for celebrations.
We appreciate your thoughtfulness and cooperation in helping make celebrations inclusive for everyone.
