As you may know, we have four dedicated handicapped parking spots in the front of our lot. These spots are used daily by families who need them. Please do not park in the handicapped spots unless you have a handicapped placard. Thank you in advance for helping all of our students access the building as safely as possible!

What a great day celebrating Halloween! Thank you to all of our parent volunteers for planning such wonderful parties for our classes. We appreciate everyone joining us for the parade, even with the sprinkles of rain!

Help us make the holidays bright for D303 families by donating new and unwrapped toys during our Big Hearts of Fox Valley Toy Drive. On Thursday and Friday, our very own Student Ambassadors will be outside to collect your donations during morning arrival. Just pull up in the pick-up line, and hand your donations to our wonderful ambassadors. Of course, you are welcome to drop off a donation at any time next week. Let's fill these awesome donation bins!

We are so grateful for not only our wonderful Fox Ridge staff but we are also extremely grateful to all of our loving Fox Ridge families for always donating and helping! We could not be successful without YOU!!!

Fox Ridge will be celebrating Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11th with an all-school assembly and a breakfast for our veterans. We have two ways that we would like to honor our community veterans on this day:

• We invite our veterans to come and enjoy our assembly and a light breakfast. If you are interested in a veteran attending, please complete this form by Thursday, November 5th.
• We ask that you share information and photos about veterans in your families by completing the attached flyer. Please feel free to attach the photo anywhere on the flyer. Copies of the flyer can also be obtained from classroom teachers or the main office.

We look forward to honoring our veterans on Wednesday, November 11th!

Between November 9 and November 20, 2026, 3rd and 5th graders will be taking the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT). The test consists of three sections, 90 minutes of total test time, broken into nine 10-minute tests. Fox Ridge 3rd and 5th graders will be testing on November 10th, 13th, and 16th.

Beginning in November, Samantha Sommerfeld and Grace Ivey, school social workers, will begin Erin's Law lessons utilizing the Second Step Child Protection Unit. For more information regarding Erin's Law and the Second Step instructional resource, please see this letter.
