Anna Gervasi is joining our team as our new 5/6th grade Math teacher. Anna is ready to make numbers come alive with her passion for problem-solving and her belief that every student can succeed in math. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and we're excited to see the amazing things she'll accomplish with her students this year. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome!

Drop-off Time and Location School starts at 8:00 a.m. and student supervision is available at the drop-off location from 7:20 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

All students should be dropped off on the north side of Caley. To keep traffic flowing and ensure everyone's safety, please follow these steps:

• Form a single line on Caley.

• Do not block the crosswalk. We need the crosswalk to be clear for our crossing guards to assist students and families.

• Pull forward continuously. Staff members will assist students in opening car doors. Do not park and get out of your vehicle while in the car line.

• Do not pull around other cars to get ahead.

Traffic Safety Please follow all of CCA's traffic rules, as they are designed to keep our students safe.

If you park in the neighborhood and walk your child to school, you must use the designated crosswalk at the light on Dayton and Caley or at the bottom of the hill at Dayton and Elmira. A staff member will be there to help you cross safely.

Please adhere to the indicated times for your students' dismissal:

• If you arrive before your student’s assigned pick-up time, you will be asked to leave and come back at your scheduled time.

Students with older CCA siblings or carpool members will wait in a predetermined location with a staff member who will escort them to the proper pick-up destination at the time that the older sibling or carpool member is released. Pick-up times will not change even if the older student is absent or in an after-school activity. Please adhere to this policy, it is for the safety of all students.

Tired of juggling daily school pickups, drop-offs, and after-school activities? Cherry Creek Academy has the perfect solution. We've teamed up with Schoolpool to help families connect and create convenient carpools.

Seventy-seven families have already registered, and the more people who join, the more likely you are to find the perfect match. Whether you need a regular ride for school or just a way to get to sports and activities, Schoolpool makes it simple.

Even if you don't need a ride right now, we encourage you to sign up. By adding your family to the network, you help build a stronger, more connected CCA community for everyone. It's an easy way to meet other families who live nearby and make our school life a little bit easier.

If your family has set up a carpool with other CCA families, please email Miss Sadie at frontdesk@cherrycreekacademy.org to let her know so we can ensure your children go to the correct dismissal location.

All CCA students are invited to attend an open enrichment session with Ms. Redmond in room 125 on weekday mornings. Students have free choice of a variety of activities, including Dash and Dot robots, creating with recycled materials, watercolor painting, and working with iPad apps.

To attend, students must first get permission from their homeroom teacher. Enrichment will be available after you have checked in with them, from 7:20 to 7:55 AM.

Join the CCA PTO for an evening of excitement at our annual school carnival! This is a fantastic opportunity for the whole school community to come together and have a great time. We've got a ton of fun planned, including classic carnival games, giant inflatables, creative face painting, and a silly photo booth to capture all the memories.

CCA students will receive a wristband and 10 tickets each to use on pizza, drinks and activities. Additional tickets are available for purchase at the event. This event is open to CCA students, family members, and friends. If you have guests joining who aren't immediate CCA family members, they can purchase a wristband for $9.00 each to enjoy all the fun. For more information, see the Carnival Flyer that was sent home with students.

A friendly reminder: all students must be accompanied by an adult throughout the evening. We can't wait to see you there!

Mark your calendars for Friday, August 29, 2025 – it’s nearly time for one of CCA’s traditions: Fly Like an Eagle (FLAE) Day!

FLAE Day is organized to start the school year off by creating connections through teamwork and collaboration! Students will spend the afternoon participating in team-building activities, outdoor games, and hands-on stations that bring these values to life.

We need your help to make it happen! Volunteers needed to run games!

CCA is continuing our partnership with Cherry Creek School District's Food and Nutrition services to bring a quality and nutritious breakfast and lunch to our CCA students. For more information, attached is a link to the CCSD Food and Nutrition Program Website.

MySchoolApps is the fast and secure way to apply for free and reduced meals online. While CCSD is providing free breakfast and lunch to students through December, this benefit has not been confirmed for 2026. We will update our community as new information becomes available.

4 Reasons to submit the form:

4. Discounts on home internet and other utilities

Cherry Creek Academy offers optional Chromebook Repair Insurance for 4th-8th grade students. Insurance is available from July 1 through August 31 at 11:59 PM and costs $40 per student, per school year. Please note that coverage isn't active until 48 hours after payment.

Insurance covers 50% of all damage claims. For example, a screen replacement would cost $80 with insurance, compared to the regular $160 fee. You can make payments online via Revtrak, or by cash or check made out to CCA.
