Annual Registration Update and Fee Payments for the 2026-27 School Year
Create Your Campus Parent Account and Update Your Student Information
Each year, returning families must complete an update to their student registration information. This annual registration update ensures we have accurate contact details, health records, and emergency contacts on file for students. The update, along with any school meal account and fee payments, must be completed before school begins each fall.
Fargo Public Schools has moved from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus for our student information system due to North Dakota’s statewide adoption of Infinite Campus. You will need to create a new parent portal account in Campus Parent to access your child's information. Using a computer rather than a mobile device is recommended for registration. Returning families will also receive a direct email to set up an account; you may need to check your junk/spam folder in your email account for this email.
Each guardian of a Fargo Public Schools student can create a Campus Parent account, but only one guardian should review and update information each school year.
What is a Campus Parent Account?
In addition to annual student information update forms, your Campus Parent account gives you access to your child's attendance records, along with access to your middle and high school child's daily assignments and current grades (these last two features are not available for elementary students).
Information for Returning Families
Returning District families need to set up a Campus Parent account. Students who attended a Fargo Public School during the 2025-26 school year should be attached to the existing household.
If a returning family has a child who will be a new student to Fargo Public Schools in the 2026-27 school year, the new student can be added in Campus Parent using the “Add New Student” button.
IMPORTANT: All returning Fargo Public Schools families must verify family information and complete annual student information updates for the coming school year PRIOR TO their student(s) attending any orientation or back-to-school sessions in August. Middle and high school students will NOT receive their class schedule and/or school-issued laptop until online Infinite Campus annual student information update forms have been verified and updated for the 2026-27 school year.
Information regarding student health did not transition to Infinite Campus from PowerSchool. Parents will need to update their child’s health, medication and allergy information in Campus Parent.
PLEASE NOTE: Once logged in to Campus Parent, if you see any students or information that should not be attributed to your household or are missing any students that should be in your household, please contact our Student Records team at 701.446.1006.
Returning Families: How to Set Up a Campus Parent Account
Due to the transition from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus, you MUST set up an Infinite Campus account to access your student’s information in Campus Parent. If you have multiple children in Fargo Public Schools, you only need to do this once — even if you receive multiple emails. You will receive an email from FPS with a link to Infinite Campus and instructions on how to create your account.
Follow the instructions and the link in the email sent to you by Fargo Public Schools (you may need to check your spam/junk folder). Once your account is created and you are logged in, you will be prompted to review and complete forms for the upcoming school year.
New Families: How to Set up a Campus Parent Account
New families to Fargo Public Schools who need to register their child (including kindergarten) for school should start by visiting the Registration page on the Fargo Public Schools website. This page contains guidelines for registration, an interactive boundary map that will confirm your home address is within the Fargo Public School boundaries and list the elementary, middle, and high schools serving your address.
When you have reviewed this information and are ready to begin the registration process, go to https://fargond.infinitecampus.org/campus/OLRLoginKiosk/fargo and follow the prompts to complete registration.
Step-by-step instructions for registration for new families are available at this link.
School Pay
Families use School Pay to pay for school meals and fees. However, School Pay will not be available through Campus Parent as it used to be via PowerSchool. Due to this change, all families will need to establish a new School Pay account.
To create your parent account for SchoolPay:
Go to schoolpay.com
Click “Find my Account”
Enter your email address (the email address you have stored on file with your child’s student record). If a matching email address is found, you will be led through a process to create your account.
Once you have created your account, you can set up a credit card, make fee payments, and set up meal payments for your student(s). SchoolPay can be accessed at any time by going to https://schoolpay.com.
SchoolPay has reported to Fargo Public Schools that they are having a problem sending emails to individuals with hotmail.com, outlook.com, msn.com, or live.com personal email addresses. Because of this, many of our parents trying to get connected to their SchoolPay account by going to schoolpay.com and clicking Find my Account are finding they are not receiving the necessary email from SchoolPay they need to set their password. SchoolPay apologizes for this issue.
To ensure all parents have the opportunity to get connected to SchoolPay, they suggest that parents who try Find my Account and don’t receive an email call their support number, and a support technician can set a password for them. The SchoolPay support number is 833-731-2600. In their calling system, after selecting a language for the call, choose option 3 to Create an Account, and then option 2 to speak with a representative.
School Meal Prices
The Fargo Board of Education set meal prices for the 2026-27 school year. The prices are:
Elementary Breakfast $1.85
Elementary Lunch $2.85
Secondary Breakfast $2.10
Secondary Lunch $3.20
Adult Breakfast $2.95
Adult Lunch $4.25
Extra Milk $0.50
Please note:
Schools qualifying for the Community Eligibility Program will receive free student meals in the 2026-27 school year. These schools include Ed Clapp Elementary School, Madison Elementary School, Jefferson Elementary School, Dakota High School, Early Childhood Special Education at Agassiz, and Explorer Academy.
Any additional meals purchased by a student will be charged at the adult price.
Starting July 1, 2026, the district will be passing along credit card fees to the payer on all electronic payments. This information will be displayed in SchoolPay and will replace the $10 minimum requirement.
Milk for classroom breaks will not be offered at Fargo Public Schools elementary schools during the 2026-27 school year. Currently, Fargo Public Schools funds approximately 45% of the milk program's cost. Due to declining resources, the program is no longer feasible to continue. In addition, school staff have reported significant milk waste, making the program unsustainable. Students will continue to have access to drinking water, following their school’s guidelines. The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program will continue to be offered at qualifying buildings and is typically provided during classroom breaks.
Free and Reduced-Price Meals Application
Students attending school are provided breakfast and lunch through the USDA National School Lunch Program. Students may qualify for federal and state assistance to cover the cost of meals. Households may qualify based on income and size, participation in a federal assistance program (SNAP, etc.) or other criteria. Families receive free meals if they fall below 225% of the federal poverty line. Families must submit a Student Fees Assistance and Benefits Application (also known as a Free-and Reduced-Price Meal Application) every year.
If families qualify, households can receive free meals and additional benefits such as:
Waived (canceled) fees for school related activities such as band rentals, activity fees, exam fees, and others.
Increased funding to the district for educational programs through Title 1 funding, foundation aid, e-rate for technology grants, and others.
Households wishing to apply for Free or Reduced-Price Meals may apply by submitting a Student Fees Assistance and Benefits Application. It is only necessary to submit one application per household.
For more information about Free or Reduced-Priced Meals or the Student Fees Assistance and Benefits Application, visit the FPS Nutritional Services Department website. If you need assistance with the application, call FPS Nutrition Services at 701.446.1153.
If You Do Not Have Internet Access at Home
If you do not have access to the Internet at home, you may access the Internet via computer kiosks available at your child's school. Please call your child’s school to schedule an appointment to complete the form in person.
