Superintendent Weekly Update
December 15th, 2024

Volume 4/Issue 18 - December 15th, 2024
Where did that first semester go??? I hope it is a sign that we are doing many great things that make the days go by fast and that we have created many memories that will have us reflect and smile. We are down to the final days and we need to make sure we are taking care of business on our end with grades, behavior, and overall wellbeing to each other. Let us finish strong, TOGETHER!

Message for the Week:
Message from Mr. Tejkl
It is how you finish...
Good morning!
I hope you had a great weekend and survived the cold and ice! Winter has finally found us but we had a good run. We have hit the last week before break is here and I can not thank you for the hard work, passion, and dedication to SRC!
Loving others means caring for them, being kind, and supporting them when they need it. It’s about showing people you care, not just with words but with actions—like listening to them, helping them out, or just being there when they’re going through a tough time. Love is about accepting each other’s flaws and differences, and still choosing to be there, no matter what. It’s not about expecting something in return, but about making others feel valued and respected, just like you’d want for yourself.
Loving others also means taking care of yourself, too. You can’t give love if you’re not feeling good about who you are. Healthy love is about respecting your own needs while also being there for others. It’s okay to set boundaries and say no when you need to. When love is shared in a way that’s balanced and honest, it can bring people closer together, making life more meaningful and joyful for everyone involved. At the heart of it, loving others is about connection, kindness, and being understanding.
It is the core of what makes us, well, us. let's keep this in mind as we move forward through the holiday season and as we prepare for the new year!
Have a great rest of your Sunday and I will see you tomorrow!
Quote of the week to reflect on:
"My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple:loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?"
Bob Hope
Sincerely,
Tucker Tejkl
