November 2024 Levy
On November 5th, Clinton-Massie Local Schools proposed a 1% earned income tax levy, aimed at enhancing the quality of education for our students and securing the future of our school district. We were hopeful that this measure would be supported, allowing us to maintain and expand critical programs, provide essential services, and invest in our facilities. While we are disappointed with the outcome, we want to express our gratitude to everyone who participated in this process —whether you supported the levy or engaged in meaningful discussion about the needs of our schools. Your involvement is crucial as we work together for the betterment of our students and community.
As we move forward, it’s important to address the immediate impacts of this result. The Board of Education will meet later this month to discuss how to eliminate our projected deficit spending of approximately $900,000. We will then communicate these next steps to the community. We remain committed to our students and will work tirelessly to minimize disruptions to their education. Our goal is to ensure that every child has access to quality learning experiences, and we will continue evaluating all of our options on how best to do this.
Looking ahead, we will be returning to the ballot on May 6, 2025, and we encourage open dialogue within our community to discuss how we can collectively support our schools and students. For more information about the levy and its implications, please visit our website at www.cmfalcons.org/levy.

Outdoor Facilities - "4 Quarter Drive"
Our facilities need immediate attention as some are on the verge of not being useable due to safety concerns and many need significant upgrades over the next 1-3 years to allow continued use. The district is asking for community financial support through a grassroots funding program.
We aim to partner with local businesses and community members to drive facility upgrades. Local businesses and community members are rewarded with many great sponsorship opportunities including but not limited to Naming Rights, Advertisement Opportunities, Donor Wall Recognition, PA Announcements, Season Passes, etc.
The entire project is approximately $2.5 million dollars. The "1st quarter" of the 4 Quarter Drive focuses on replacing the turf. It is 13 years old and at the end of life. An average turf field lasts between 8-12 years. The turf provides athletic opportunities for our football, soccer, lacrosse, youth teams, band, and community. It is a revenue generator for our school, so it needs to be our focus.
