News & Information for Tiger Families
Letter from the Principal
Dear St. Teresa Families!
We have had another wonderful week at St. Teresa Catholic School, filled with learning, faith, and exciting experiences for our students! As we look ahead, we have a busy couple of weeks filled with special activities, celebrations, and opportunities to come together as a school community.
A Huge Tiger Shout-Out!
A HUGE THANK YOU to ShowMe Stormwater Solutions and Mr. Roland Biehl for visiting St. Teresa Catholic School and providing our 7th and 8th grade students with an engaging educational experience!
Our students learned about stormwater runoff, the impact it has on our environment, and the importance of protecting our waterways. Experiences like these help our students connect classroom learning to the real world and understand how their actions can make a difference in caring for God's creation.
Kindergarten & First Grade Adventures!
Today, our kindergarten and first grade students are enjoying a fun-filled day at Eckert's! What a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty of fall, make memories with classmates, and enjoy learning outside the classroom. We can't wait to hear all about their adventures!
Monthly Youth Mass — Sunday, October 18
We invite all of our St. Teresa families to join us for our monthly Youth Mass this Sunday, October 18, at 11:00 AM at St. Teresa Church.
It is always a blessing to see our students and families come together in faith and worship. We hope to see you there!
Red Ribbon Week Is Almost Here!
Next week, we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week! This special week reminds our students of the importance of making healthy choices, respecting themselves and others, and living positive, drug-free lives.
We have several fun themed days planned! Be sure to check out the flyers below for all the special dress-up days and activities. We look forward to seeing our Tigers participate!
Please join us on Wednesday, October 21, immediately following our 8:30 AM Mass for our annual Living Rosary. This beautiful tradition brings our school community together in prayer as we honor our Blessed Mother. We invite our families to share in this special expression of faith.
PTO Trunk or Treat — Sunday, October 25
Get those costumes ready! Our annual PTO Trunk or Treat will take place on Sunday, October 25, from 2:00–4:00 PM!
Halloween Parade & Classroom Parties — Thursday, October 29
Mark your calendars for one of our favorite fall traditions!
Our annual Halloween Parade will begin at 1:45 PM on Thursday, October 29.
Parents and families are invited to park at the church and enjoy watching our students parade around the church property in their festive Halloween costumes!
Classroom Halloween parties will begin promptly at 2:00 PM, immediately following the parade.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
We look forward to welcoming our parents for Parent-Teacher Conferences! This is an important opportunity to celebrate your child's growth, discuss progress, and strengthen the partnership between home and school.
Conference Dates and Times:
- Thursday, October 29: 4:00–8:00 PM
- Friday, October 30: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education.
A Final Tiger Thought
As we head into another busy week, I want to thank our families, teachers, staff, and volunteers for all they do to make St. Teresa such a special place. Our school is more than just a building. It is a community rooted in faith, strengthened by kindness, and united in our commitment to helping every child grow.
Thank you for choosing St. Teresa School and for entrusting us with the privilege of being a part of your child’s education, faith formation, and growth. We are grateful to have your family as part of our St. Teresa community.
God Bless,
Sincerely,
Nicole Green
