THE BEAR ESSENTIALS
Week of June 8, 2026
Hello Bear Families,
As we head into the final week of the school year, we want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership. It has been a wonderful year filled with growth, learning, and many memorable moments for our students.
Next week, students will be finishing their final exams. Please note that Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will all be half days, with dismissal at 11:38 a.m. each day. We encourage students to come prepared, well-rested, and ready to do their best.
Wednesday will mark our last day of school, and we are excited to close out the year together.
Thank you again for being such an important part of our school community. We hope you have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer ahead!
Go Bears!

Class of 2027: Seniors Portraits
Please see the attached PDFs with all the information you will need about getting your senior portrait in the yearbook for the Class of 2027!
You MUST take a picture with Michael Baron Studios. FREE sessions will take place at RHS in the Commons on July 27, 28, and August 5. Keep an eye on your email in the coming weeks for a sign-up link to choose your time slot. This session will not only provide your yearbook photo, selected by you, but also includes a FREE 15-minute portrait session with poses of your choice!
If you miss the chance to take advantage of the FREE senior portrait sessions, you can opt for an Essential or Express session at RHS on September 19, which cost $15 or $25, depending on the options you select.
Alternatively, you can take your school ID photo on August 24, on make-up day on September 11 during school, or on retake day on October 23 in the morning at school.
Please remember that these are your ONLY options. If you do not have a picture taken on one of these days, you will NOT be featured in the yearbook next year for your senior year.
Health Plan and/or Medication Authoriztion Form for 26/27 School Year
In preparation for a safe and healthy upcoming school year, please update health information for your child online in the MiStar parent portal. If your child has a medical condition that requires care during the school day, a Health Plan and/or Medication Authorization Form must be turned in prior to the first day of school, to give ample time for staff training and awareness.
